【摘要】：留學(xué)是文化交流的產(chǎn)物,也是人類文明傳播的重要渠道。1872年,清政府首批官派幼童赴美留學(xué),這標(biāo)志著近代中國(guó)真正意義上的留學(xué)運(yùn)動(dòng)的開(kāi)始。 近代江西的留學(xué)教育最早始于民間,但潮起于官方。據(jù)不完全統(tǒng)計(jì),近代江西留學(xué)生人數(shù)至少在1793人以上,其中男性多于女性,公費(fèi)多于自費(fèi),南昌、九江、萍鄉(xiāng)3縣留學(xué)生人數(shù)比其他縣多,留學(xué)日本、美國(guó)比其他國(guó)家多,在這約70年時(shí)間里,受政局影響,留學(xué)生出國(guó)歸國(guó)人數(shù)總是忽高忽低,高峰與低谷不斷,而在某些特殊年份,二者呈一種反比例的關(guān)系,然而取得學(xué)位或擁有高學(xué)歷的人數(shù)比并不高。與此同時(shí),留學(xué)政策隨著國(guó)際國(guó)內(nèi)形勢(shì)的變化而不斷地演變,總體上是朝著規(guī)范化、標(biāo)準(zhǔn)化進(jìn)行的。 近代江西留學(xué)生影響著地方政局的變動(dòng),在清末民初的朝代更換和制度變革中、在國(guó)共兩黨的長(zhǎng)期爭(zhēng)鋒中、在對(duì)外御侮的艱苦歲月中,回國(guó)的留學(xué)生都是先鋒和骨干。留學(xué)生對(duì)地方經(jīng)濟(jì)決策和工農(nóng)業(yè)轉(zhuǎn)型的影響也是廣泛而深遠(yuǎn)的。留學(xué)生還對(duì)地方文教衛(wèi)的革新發(fā)揮了重要作用。他們不僅是地方新學(xué)的創(chuàng)始人,也是新式教學(xué)的傳播者,還是近代學(xué)科的構(gòu)建者；他們創(chuàng)辦并利用報(bào)刊作為傳播現(xiàn)代科學(xué)和文化的主要窗口,這也是他們的活動(dòng)之一；此外,留學(xué)生還在家鄉(xiāng)創(chuàng)建和發(fā)展了眾多的地方醫(yī)學(xué)院校,培養(yǎng)了許許多多的醫(yī)學(xué)人才,構(gòu)建了近代醫(yī)學(xué)的各個(gè)學(xué)科。
[Abstract]:Study abroad is the product of cultural exchange and an important channel for the spread of human civilization. In 1872, the Qing government sent the first group of young children to study in the United States, which marked the beginning of the movement of studying abroad in the true sense of modern China. The education of studying abroad in modern Jiangxi started from the folk, but the tide began at the official level. According to incomplete statistics, the number of overseas students in modern Jiangxi is at least more than 1793. Among them, more men than women, more than self-funded, Nanchang, Jiujiang and Pingxiang counties have more overseas students than other counties. Japan and the United States are more than other countries. During this period of about 70 years, under the influence of the political situation, the number of overseas students returning abroad has always fluctuated and fluctuated, and the peaks and troughs have been constant. In some special years, the two have taken on a kind of inverse relationship. However, the proportion of people who have obtained a degree or have a high degree is not high. At the same time, the policy of studying abroad evolves continuously with the change of international and domestic situation. In the late Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China, in the long struggle between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party of China, and in the arduous years of resisting foreign aggression, the returned students were the vanguard and backbone. The influence of foreign students on local economic decisions and industrial and agricultural transformation is also extensive and far-reaching. Foreign students also played an important role in the innovation of local culture, education and health. They are not only the founders of new local learning, but also the disseminators of new teaching and the builders of modern disciplines; they create and use the press as the main window for the dissemination of modern science and culture, which is also one of their activities; Foreign students have also established and developed many local medical colleges and universities in their hometown, trained many medical talents, and constructed various disciplines of modern medicine.
