【摘要】：愛棠在上海任職14年,全心全意致力于法租界的事業(yè),他創(chuàng)建了公董局,組織了法國義勇隊(duì)和法租界巡捕房,并草創(chuàng)了各項(xiàng)市政制度,成為法租界真正的奠基人。然而這樣一個(gè)重要的歷史人物,卻長(zhǎng)期被學(xué)界所忽視,并被錯(cuò)誤地認(rèn)為他只是一個(gè)來自洋行的職員。本文根據(jù)法國外交部檔案館關(guān)于愛棠的法文檔案,較為完整地復(fù)原了愛棠的曲折人生經(jīng)歷,并對(duì)其歷史地位與社會(huì)貢獻(xiàn)進(jìn)行客觀評(píng)價(jià)。
[Abstract]:After 14 years in Shanghai, Aitang devoted himself wholeheartedly to the cause of the French concession. He founded the Gongdong Bureau, organized the French volunteer team and the French concession tour house, and initiated various municipal systems. Became the real founder of the French concession. However, such an important historical figure has long been neglected by the academic community. According to the French archives of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Aitang, this article has completely restored Aitang's tortuous life experience. And its historical status and social contribution to an objective evaluation.
