現(xiàn)代新儒學(xué)文化兼容性研究

【摘要】:五四運(yùn)動(dòng)尤其是后五四時(shí)期出現(xiàn)的現(xiàn)代新儒學(xué)是文化守成主義的一部分,在民族危亡的時(shí)代大背景下,該思潮獨(dú)樹一幟,其代表人物用客觀、冷靜的態(tài)度和兼容并蓄的方式創(chuàng)造性地賦予傳統(tǒng)文化尤其是儒家文化以時(shí)代氣息,與全盤西化論、文化本位論、文化調(diào)和論相比較,其最明顯的特征是具有文化兼容性�,F(xiàn)代新儒學(xué)文化兼容的基本路徑主要有三個(gè):一是對(duì)西方文化的兼容,如援西方物態(tài)文化、制度文化、行為文化及心態(tài)文化入儒;二是對(duì)佛學(xué)文化的兼容,如援佛學(xué)唯識(shí)觀和“一心二門論”入儒;三是對(duì)道家文化的兼容,如援道家人性論和藝術(shù)精神入儒。現(xiàn)代新儒學(xué)文化兼容性具有非常重要的歷史意義,,在近代特定歷史時(shí)期,現(xiàn)代新儒學(xué)派深諳適者生存的道理,通過對(duì)傳統(tǒng)儒學(xué)自身的改造,使之避免被時(shí)代所淘汰的厄運(yùn),更重要的是延續(xù)了傳統(tǒng)文化的完整性,面對(duì)西方文化的沖擊始終未出現(xiàn)斷裂,同時(shí),現(xiàn)代新儒學(xué)摒棄傳統(tǒng)儒學(xué)之糟粕,保留了如“仁義禮智信”的道德觀和人生價(jià)值體系,是救今日國(guó)人精神迷失的良藥。 當(dāng)然,現(xiàn)代新儒學(xué)也有其局限性,譬如始終未能克服內(nèi)圣強(qiáng)而外王弱的缺點(diǎn),也沒能把握好文化的民族性與時(shí)代性、超越性與世俗性這兩對(duì)關(guān)系的平衡,以及對(duì)大眾心理的研究不夠,使得理論與實(shí)踐的距離跨度過大。但現(xiàn)代新儒學(xué)文化兼容性對(duì)當(dāng)今社會(huì)的和諧文化建設(shè)仍具有非常重要的意義。
[Abstract]:Modern Neo-Confucianism, which emerged in the May 4th Movement, especially in the post-May fourth Movement, is a part of cultural conservatism. Under the background of the times of national crisis, this trend of thought is unique and its representative figures are objective. The calm attitude and inclusive way creatively endow the traditional culture, especially the Confucian culture, with the flavor of the times, compared with the theory of total westernization, the theory of cultural standard, and the theory of cultural harmony. The most obvious characteristic is the cultural compatibility. There are three basic ways of modern Neo-Confucianism culture compatibility: one is the compatibility of western culture, such as the aid of western material culture, institutional culture, behavior culture and mentality culture into Confucianism; The other is the compatibility of Buddhism culture, such as aiding Buddhism's view of only knowledge and "one mind, two schools of thought", and third, the compatibility of Taoist culture, such as the aid of Taoism's theory of human nature and the spirit of art. The compatibility of modern neo-Confucianism culture has very important historical significance. In the specific historical period of modern times, modern neo-Confucianism deeply understands the principle of survival of the fittest. Through the transformation of traditional Confucianism itself, it can avoid the bad luck that was eliminated by the times, and more importantly, it has continued the integrity of traditional culture. In the face of the impact of western culture, the modern neo-Confucianism abandoned the dross of traditional Confucianism and retained the moral outlook and life value system such as "benevolence, righteousness, propriety, wisdom and faith", which is the good medicine to save the spiritual loss of the people today. Of course, modern neo-Confucianism also has its limitations. For example, it has never been able to overcome the shortcomings of the strong inside and the weak king outside, nor has it been able to grasp the balance between the nationality and the times of the culture, the transcendence and the secularity. However, the compatibility of modern Neo-Confucianism culture is still of great significance to the construction of harmonious culture in today's society.
