[Abstract]:Nanjing , the capital of the Republic of China , is located in the most developed East China region of China . In 1937 , Japan launched a comprehensive war against China . On December 13 , the Japanese army captured Nanjing . After that , Nanjing became the headquarters of Japan ' s General Command and the political center of Wang puppet regime . It was the focus of the Japanese puppet regime . After the victory of the War of Resistance , the Chinese government received large - scale reception .
