《鹽鐵論》與漢代賢良、文學(xué)的社會(huì)理想

【摘要】:西漢昭帝元始元年(公元前81年)召開了一次討論鹽鐵專賣政策和 相關(guān)社會(huì)問題的會(huì)議,《鹽鐵論》是漢宣帝時(shí)桓寬根據(jù)此次會(huì)議記錄進(jìn)行 加工整理而完成的一部著作。 鹽鐵會(huì)議在霍光的組織下召開,由丞相車千秋主持,會(huì)議論辯雙方分 別是賢良、文學(xué)和政府官員,討論的問題主要集中在鹽鐵專賣的利與弊、 與匈奴的戰(zhàn)與和、德治與法治、對(duì)儒法兩家的評(píng)價(jià)等四個(gè)方面。在辯論過 程中賢良、文學(xué)在抨擊漢代社會(huì)弊端的同時(shí),對(duì)他們心目中的理想之世 --古代社會(huì)也進(jìn)行了描繪和贊美。他們的社會(huì)理想有明顯的復(fù)古傾向, 主張效仿井田制,反對(duì)土地兼并;堅(jiān)持以農(nóng)為本,男耕女織,反對(duì)大量的 勞動(dòng)力棄農(nóng)從末,并認(rèn)為這是導(dǎo)致百姓貧困的重要原因;向往像古人一樣 過簡(jiǎn)單樸素、無私無欲的生活,反對(duì)華而不實(shí)、奢侈浪費(fèi)。他們不僅描繪 了自己的社會(huì)理想,還提出了實(shí)現(xiàn)這種社會(huì)理想的方法,要求為政者從提 高自身修養(yǎng)出發(fā),實(shí)行德政,用德行來教化百姓,從而形成至德之世。 賢良、文學(xué)是完美的理想主義者,他們有美好的理想,有改造社會(huì)、 使所有人都過上幸福生活的良好愿望。但他們有太多的書生意氣,把政治、 社會(huì)問題想象得過于簡(jiǎn)單化和理想化,所以他們雖然也提出了一些措施, 但終究缺乏實(shí)踐的可能性,使得他們夢(mèng)寐以求的理想僅僅只能是一個(gè)理想 而無法實(shí)現(xiàn)。
