基于中國(guó)交換生性格對(duì)其在交流項(xiàng)目中跨文化經(jīng)歷影響的研究

近年來(lái),在全球化背景下,國(guó)際交流日益頻繁,中國(guó)留學(xué)生的總體數(shù)量成倍增長(zhǎng),中國(guó)的短期留學(xué)人數(shù)也在迅速擴(kuò)大。美國(guó)是中國(guó)學(xué)生選擇最多的留學(xué)目的地,中國(guó)目前也是留美學(xué)生最大的輸出國(guó)。在以前的文獻(xiàn)中,很多研究這已經(jīng)確定了一些能夠影響跨文化接觸的因素:比如說(shuō)人的性格、傳統(tǒng)文化背景、早期的出游和跨文化經(jīng)歷等。其中的一些研究結(jié)合了心理學(xué)中的性格理論,并將其應(yīng)用到解決跨文化問題中來(lái),研究性格和跨文化經(jīng)歷的聯(lián)系。“大五人格”這一性格理論已經(jīng)被應(yīng)用到這一領(lǐng)域。一些研究展示了“大五人格”的幾個(gè)性格特質(zhì)會(huì)影響跨文化經(jīng)歷。但是這種影響是如何產(chǎn)生的?性格作用在跨文接觸的過程是怎樣的?這些尚未被量性研究回答的問題卻具有重要意義。所以本文旨在回答這兩個(gè)相關(guān)的研究問題:1.中國(guó)學(xué)生是如何定義跨文化接觸的?2.在跨文化接觸中,每一個(gè)性格特質(zhì)又是怎樣起作用的?為了更深入地了解性格在跨文化接觸中的作用的過程,作者深度采訪了兩位參加了相同交流項(xiàng)目的中國(guó)交換生。利用半結(jié)構(gòu)化的訪談結(jié)構(gòu),作者從這兩位參與者身上收集到的質(zhì)性數(shù)據(jù)將被作為兩個(gè)案例在研究中被呈現(xiàn)出來(lái)。由于涉及到性格特質(zhì),兩位參與者都在研究之前做了“大五人格測(cè)試”。得到的數(shù)據(jù)...
