【摘要】：20世紀(jì)70年代以來,美國和全球范圍內(nèi)宗教復(fù)興和美國外交史學(xué)文化轉(zhuǎn)向的雙重背景下,作為研究領(lǐng)域和分析范疇的"宗教"被引入美國外交史研究中。相關(guān)成果涉及了美國決策者的宗教思想對(duì)外交政策影響、重要宗教人士甚至觀察界與美國外交政策間關(guān)系等課題。宗教范疇在推動(dòng)美國外交史研究國際化和理論化方面,具有獨(dú)特的不可替代的作用。但是,美國外交史學(xué)界對(duì)于宗教范疇的合法性始終充滿了爭(zhēng)論,這種爭(zhēng)論實(shí)際上是整個(gè)美國外交史學(xué)關(guān)于文化轉(zhuǎn)向爭(zhēng)論的一個(gè)縮影。
[Abstract]:Since the 1970s, "religion", as a research field and an analytical category, has been introduced into the study of American diplomatic history under the dual background of religious revival and the cultural turn of American diplomatic history in the United States and the whole world. The related results involve the influence of American policy makers' religious thoughts on foreign policy, important religious figures and even the relationship between American foreign policy and important religious figures. Religion plays an irreplaceable role in promoting the internationalization and theorization of American diplomatic history. However, the validity of religious category has always been disputed in American diplomatic historiography, which is in fact a microcosm of the whole American diplomatic historiography's debate on cultural turn.
