【摘要】： 本文主要分析十九世紀后期,有利于美國“最后邊疆”農(nóng)業(yè)開發(fā)的因素,探討這一時期該地區(qū)農(nóng)業(yè)開發(fā)狀況及其影響。全文共分三部分: 第一部分:對美國“最后邊疆”地區(qū)的地理位置、自然環(huán)境,人們這一時期對邊疆地區(qū)的認識,到十九世紀六十年代為至的開發(fā)狀況有一個明確的說明。為下面的論述作鋪墊,作為下一步論述的起點。 第二部分:論述十九世紀后期有利于“最后邊疆”開發(fā)的多種因素。內(nèi)戰(zhàn)后,美國社會關于西部邊疆地區(qū)的爭端最終解決。美國政府為了加快該地區(qū)的開發(fā),制定了一系列土地法令,這些法令對美國“最后邊疆”的農(nóng)業(yè)開發(fā)起了很重要的作用。邊疆地區(qū)交通運輸業(yè)的發(fā)展,特別是鐵路網(wǎng)的建設,也為開發(fā)能夠順利進行提供了必不可少的條件。十九世紀后期,美國東部地區(qū)工業(yè)化正在進行,這就為邊疆地區(qū)的農(nóng)業(yè)開發(fā)提供了機械設備,大大加速了邊疆地區(qū)的農(nóng)業(yè)開發(fā)進程。在這種狀況下,大量的國內(nèi)外移民來到該地區(qū),“最后邊疆”地區(qū)大規(guī)模定居開發(fā)的時代到來了。 第三部分:將對“最后邊疆”地區(qū)農(nóng)業(yè)開發(fā)的過程及其影響做比較全面的論述。19世紀后期西部的農(nóng)業(yè)開發(fā)與19世紀前期的西進運動,在不同的時代條件下,有著很多不同的地方。農(nóng)業(yè)開發(fā)的速度和規(guī)模都大大超過了以前,在30年的時間內(nèi)使美國幾乎一半的國土得到定居開發(fā)。十九世紀后期“最后邊疆”的農(nóng)業(yè)開發(fā)不僅對美國經(jīng)濟有很大影響,而且對美國社會文化也有影響。邊疆地區(qū)的農(nóng)業(yè)開發(fā),使美國的農(nóng)作物產(chǎn)量大幅度增加,并出現(xiàn)過剩,農(nóng)作物的價格大幅下跌,引起了一系列的社會問題。同時在“最后邊疆”的農(nóng)業(yè)開發(fā)中,進一步塑造了美國人的民族性格和民族精神。
[Abstract]:This paper mainly analyzes the factors favorable to the agricultural development of the last frontier of the United States in the late 19th century, and probes into the situation and influence of agricultural development in this area during this period. The paper is divided into three parts: the first part: the geographical location, natural environment, people's understanding of the border area in this period. By the 1960 s, there was a clear explanation of the state of development. For the following discussion, as the starting point of the next discussion. The second part discusses many factors favorable to the development of the Last Frontier in the late nineteenth century. After the Civil War, American society's dispute about the western frontier area was finally resolved. In order to speed up the development of the region, the United States government enacted a series of land laws, which played an important role in the agricultural development of the "last frontier" of the United States. The development of transportation in frontier areas, especially the construction of railway network, also provides the necessary conditions for the smooth development. In the late 19th century, the industrialization of the eastern part of the United States was under way, which provided machinery and equipment for the agricultural development of the frontier areas, and greatly accelerated the agricultural development process in the frontier areas. In this situation, a large number of immigrants from home and abroad came to the region, and the era of large-scale settlement and development in the "Last Frontier" region came. The third part: the process and influence of agricultural development in the "Last Frontier" region will be discussed comprehensively. The western agricultural development in the late 19th century and the westward movement in the early 19th century will be discussed in different times. There are many different places. Agricultural development was much faster and larger than before, enabling almost half of the United States to settle in 30 years. The agricultural development of the Last Frontier in the late 19th century not only had a great influence on American economy, but also on American social culture. The development of agriculture in the frontier areas caused a great increase in the production of crops in the United States, and there was a surplus, and the prices of crops fell sharply, which caused a series of social problems. At the same time, in the agricultural development of the Last Frontier, the American national character and national spirit were further molded.
