【摘要】：伊普斯威治是英國最古老的城鎮(zhèn)之一。它萌芽于羅馬帝國末期,幾度興衰,最終在天災人禍、自身缺陷和國內經(jīng)濟地理格局轉變的共同影響下走向衰落,并徹底離開了英國經(jīng)濟地位重要的城市之列。伊普斯威治的發(fā)展與興起得益于自身良好的地理位置及其作為早期商業(yè)中心的優(yōu)勢條件,也得益于它在政治、宗教、社會經(jīng)濟等方面所具備的特權優(yōu)勢,其發(fā)展過程與英國歷史整體息息相關,與英國不同歷史時期經(jīng)濟社會的發(fā)展變化緊密相連。對于伊普斯威治興衰史的研究,尤其是其作為港口貿(mào)易城市的經(jīng)濟發(fā)展興衰進行細致考察,有助于加深對伊普斯威治及其所在的東盎格里亞地區(qū)的發(fā)展的認識,亦可窺見英國區(qū)域經(jīng)濟發(fā)展與轉型對東部沿海城市的影響。 第一章“伊普斯威治的早期發(fā)展和第一輪興衰”,主要以伊普斯威治城市名稱的起源探尋商業(yè)對城市早期發(fā)展的帶動,而優(yōu)越的地理位置、特色手工業(yè)、良好的天然港口以及持續(xù)發(fā)展的商業(yè)則促成了伊普斯威治的第一次興起。然而,9世紀起,伊普斯威治城市發(fā)展的良好態(tài)勢被丹麥人的入侵打破,漸趨哀落。 第二章“伊普斯威治的沉寂與再次興起”,在論述伊普斯威治在諾曼征服前后的短期沉寂后,重點論述其再次興起及其此后兩百余年的繁榮。這一時期,城市特許狀的獲得、羊毛及呢絨出口貿(mào)易的繁榮及國王的保護和扶持是促進城市成長的關鍵囚素。 第三章“伊普斯威治的困境與苦斗”,論述在天災人禍、自身缺陷、內部衰退和國內經(jīng)濟地理格局轉變的種種困境中,伊普斯威治雖苦苦奮斗,最終卻在中部“塌陷”的大趨勢中再次衰落,并從此退出英國經(jīng)濟地位重要的城市之列。18世紀后,伊普斯威治在探索中轉型。
[Abstract]:Ipswich is one of the oldest towns in England. It sprout at the end of the Roman Empire, rose and fell several times, and finally declined under the influence of natural and man-made disasters, its own defects and the transformation of its domestic economic geography, and it completely left the list of cities with an important economic status in Britain. The development and rise of Ipswich benefited from its good geographical position and its advantages as an early commercial center, and from its privileged advantages in politics, religion, and social economy. Its development process is closely related to the whole history of England and the development and changes of economy and society in different historical periods of Britain. The study of the history of the rise and fall of Ipswich, especially its economic development and decline as a port trading city, will help to deepen the understanding of the development of Ipswich and its East Anglia region. Can also see the British regional economic development and transformation of the eastern coastal city impact. The first chapter, "the early development and the first rise and fall of Ipswich", mainly uses the origin of the city name of Ipswich to explore the driving force of commerce to the early development of the city, and the superior geographical position and characteristic handicraft industry. Good natural ports and sustainable commerce contributed to the first rise of Ipswich. However, since the 9th century, the good trend of urban development in Ipswich was broken by the Danes' invasion. Chapter two, "the Silence and reemergence of Ipswich", discusses the short-term silence of Ipswich before and after the Norman conquest, and focuses on its re-emergence and its prosperity for more than 200 years. During this period, the obtaining of urban charter, the prosperity of wool and woolen export trade and the protection and support of the king were the key factors to promote the growth of the city. The third chapter, "the predicament and struggle of Ipswich", states that Ipswich has struggled in the natural and man-made disasters, its own defects, its internal recession and the transformation of its domestic economic geography. Finally, in the middle of the "collapse" of the general trend of decline again, and from then on out of the British economic status of the city after the 18th century, Ipswich in the exploration of transformation.
