[Abstract]:The permanent Representative Office of the people's Republic of China to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) is the only foreign agency of the State specializing in agricultural diplomacy and an important external window for China in the fields of agriculture, grain and poverty alleviation. On behalf of the Chinese government, he directly engaged in multi-bilateral agricultural diplomacy and international cooperation with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the World Food Program (WFP) and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD). The 18th National Congress of the Party has put forward a new way of thinking about the work of "agriculture, rural areas and farmers", which should focus on industrialization, informatization, urbanization and agricultural modernization.
