CNN對(duì)華報(bào)道與中國(guó)的國(guó)家形象建構(gòu)

【摘要】:國(guó)家形象是近年來(lái)較熱的話題之一。作為構(gòu)建國(guó)家形象的主要渠道,大眾傳媒在國(guó)際關(guān)系中的重要性開(kāi)始凸顯。隨著信息技術(shù)的發(fā)展,越來(lái)越多的國(guó)家開(kāi)始重視媒體在構(gòu)建國(guó)家形象中的作用。在全球的傳媒體系中,CNN具有絕對(duì)的優(yōu)勢(shì)地位,通過(guò)其發(fā)達(dá)的傳播網(wǎng)絡(luò)和技術(shù),成為影響國(guó)際公眾對(duì)外認(rèn)知及塑造他國(guó)形象的最重要媒介。 中國(guó)的國(guó)家形象經(jīng)歷了兩個(gè)階段的發(fā)展。2008年以前,基本以負(fù)面形象為主,長(zhǎng)期以來(lái),由于意識(shí)形態(tài)和價(jià)值觀等因素,西方媒體對(duì)中國(guó)一直存在偏見(jiàn)。尤其在政治領(lǐng)域,對(duì)華報(bào)道存在歪曲“丑化”中國(guó)的做法。2008年以后,國(guó)家形象有了新的變化,對(duì)中國(guó)而言,這五年是充滿重大機(jī)遇和挑戰(zhàn)的幾年,中國(guó)的綜合國(guó)力邁上新的臺(tái)階,但國(guó)家形象建設(shè)仍然面臨新的挑戰(zhàn)。 本文以2008-2012年CNN對(duì)華報(bào)道為研究對(duì)象,通過(guò)定量分析、定性分析及相關(guān)案例研究等一系列研究方法,同時(shí)結(jié)合傳播學(xué)、國(guó)際關(guān)系等跨學(xué)科研究,針對(duì)CNN對(duì)華報(bào)道的內(nèi)容、傾向、報(bào)道策略等進(jìn)行深入研究,旨在探索西方媒體對(duì)華報(bào)道和中國(guó)國(guó)家形象之間的關(guān)系。 CNN是構(gòu)建中國(guó)國(guó)家形象最重要的傳媒之一,中國(guó)輿論界對(duì)CNN一直持批判的態(tài)度,,CNN對(duì)華報(bào)道中存在“妖魔化”中國(guó)的現(xiàn)象。但同時(shí),對(duì)華報(bào)道也有部分符合傳媒準(zhǔn)則、中立客觀的新聞,中國(guó)的國(guó)家形象在這一時(shí)期更為復(fù)雜和多樣性。 本文通過(guò)對(duì)CNN對(duì)華報(bào)道的研究和對(duì)華報(bào)道的策略及影響因素的了解,從而為西方媒體與中國(guó)形象的研究提供借鑒,并希望探索出一條構(gòu)筑中國(guó)形象的良好道路。
[Abstract]:National image is one of the hot topics in recent years. As the main channel to construct national image, the importance of mass media in international relations began to highlight. With the development of information technology, more and more countries begin to attach importance to the role of media in the construction of national image. CNN has an absolute advantage in the global media system. Through its developed communication network and technology, CNN has become the most important medium to influence the international public's external cognition and shape the image of other countries. China's national image has undergone two stages of development. Before 2008, the main negative image, for a long time, due to ideology and values and other factors, Western media have been biased against China. Especially in the political field, there is a practice of distorting "uglification" of China in the reporting of China. Since 2008, the national image has undergone new changes. For China, these five years have been full of major opportunities and challenges. China's comprehensive national strength has reached a new level, but the national image construction is still facing new challenges. This paper takes the CNN report on China from 2008 to 2012 as the research object, through a series of research methods, such as quantitative analysis, qualitative analysis and relevant case studies, combining with the interdisciplinary research of communication and international relations, aiming at the content and tendency of CNN's report on China. The purpose of this study is to explore the relationship between Western media reports on China and China's national image. CNN is one of the most important media to construct China's national image. Chinese public opinion has been critical of CNN. But at the same time, China's national image is more complicated and diverse in this period, which is also partly in line with the media standards, neutral and objective news. Based on the study of CNN's report on China and its strategies and influencing factors, this paper provides a reference for the study of western media and Chinese image, and hopes to explore a good way to construct the image of China.
