混合模式調(diào)查下的測(cè)量不變性:跨文化視角

【摘要】:混合模式調(diào)查收集數(shù)據(jù)的有效性需以模式間測(cè)量等同為前提。以往調(diào)查模式間的測(cè)量等同研究尚未考慮文化因素的影響。本研究通過(guò)兩個(gè)自我創(chuàng)新能力評(píng)價(jià)量表,基于中美兩國(guó)數(shù)據(jù),運(yùn)用多組確認(rèn)性因子分析法考察了將由網(wǎng)絡(luò)調(diào)查和紙筆調(diào)查構(gòu)成的混合調(diào)查模式應(yīng)用于自我能力和行為評(píng)估時(shí)的測(cè)量等同問(wèn)題。結(jié)果在美國(guó)的樣本中發(fā)現(xiàn)創(chuàng)新能力評(píng)價(jià)量表在兩種調(diào)查模式下具有測(cè)量不變性,而在中國(guó)的樣本中只發(fā)現(xiàn)強(qiáng)因子測(cè)量不變性,提示混合模式調(diào)查下測(cè)量不等同的出現(xiàn)是調(diào)查模式和文化因素共同導(dǎo)致的結(jié)果。我們認(rèn)為,集體主義文化擴(kuò)大與強(qiáng)化了紙筆調(diào)查和網(wǎng)絡(luò)調(diào)查之間的匿名感知差異,進(jìn)而受訪者可能在網(wǎng)絡(luò)調(diào)查中呈現(xiàn)出"滿意決策"作答行為或在線下的調(diào)查中呈現(xiàn)出"社會(huì)稱許性作答行為",從而增加了出現(xiàn)測(cè)量不等同的可能性。
[Abstract]:The validity of data collection in mixed mode survey must be based on the same measurement between modes. The influence of cultural factors has not been taken into account in the study of measurement equivalence between survey models in the past. This study is based on data from China and the United States through two self-innovation assessment scales. In this paper, a multi-group confirmatory factor analysis method is used to investigate the measurement equivalence of a hybrid survey model, which consists of a network survey and a pen and paper survey, in the evaluation of self-ability and behavior. Results in American samples, the innovation ability evaluation scale was found to be measurable invariant in two survey modes, while in Chinese samples, strong factor measurement invariance was found only. It is suggested that the occurrence of measurement inequality under mixed mode survey is the result of both investigation mode and cultural factors. We believe that the culture of collectivism expands and reinforces the differences in anonymous perception between pen and paper surveys and online surveys. Furthermore, the interviewees may present "satisfactory decision making" behavior in the online survey or "social approbation response behavior" in the off-line survey, thus increasing the possibility that measurement is not equivalent.
