【摘要】：社會科學(xué)主要研究兩類對象,一類是個體及其信念、價值、選擇以及行動;另一類是國家、企業(yè)、法律、文化等社會建制或社會現(xiàn)象。社會層級的事物能夠還原為個體及其行動嗎?如若可以,這類還原當(dāng)如何得以實現(xiàn),在還原的過程中會遺失哪些信息?反思社會與個體這兩類不同層級事物之間的關(guān)系,是還原論研究的基本旨趣。然作為一門系統(tǒng)性的科學(xué),社會科學(xué)被普遍認(rèn)為是反還原論的。本文并不完全贊同這樣的觀點�？茖W(xué)的有效性是以其解釋的合理性為基礎(chǔ)的,按照經(jīng)驗主義的立場,社會科學(xué)的解釋也應(yīng)該符合經(jīng)驗的事實,在這個意義上,還原論是具有一定的合理性的。還原論是社會科學(xué)哲學(xué)的核心議題之一,深刻反思還原論之于社會科學(xué)的適用性及其特定的適用層次和范圍、探究具體的還原進(jìn)路,對社會科學(xué)和科學(xué)哲學(xué)具有十分重要的理論價值。本文由引言、正文的三個專題章節(jié)、結(jié)束語五部分內(nèi)容構(gòu)成。引言部分主要涵蓋了論文的選題意義與目的、國內(nèi)外研究現(xiàn)狀、論文的研究內(nèi)容與創(chuàng)新點。正文的第一章梳理了還原論提出的歷史背景,深入剖析了還原論的哲學(xué)內(nèi)涵,從社會科學(xué)的角度對還原論進(jìn)行了界定。第二章綜述了社會科學(xué)領(lǐng)域內(nèi),還原論與反還原論在本體論、認(rèn)識論、解釋三個層面展開的核心爭論,在此基礎(chǔ)之上,對還原論在社會科學(xué)中的適用性進(jìn)行簡要的分析。第三章圍繞還原論在社會科學(xué)中如何適用這一問題,介紹了還原論在社會科學(xué)中的兩條解釋進(jìn)路。論文的結(jié)語部分,揭示了還原論對于社會科學(xué)的重要意義,指明了還原論所面臨困境和發(fā)展趨勢,提出了本文的立場,社會科學(xué)無法徹底擺脫還原論的影響,建議站在經(jīng)驗主義的立場上,減少還原論與反還原論之間無休止的爭論,嘗試?yán)枚嘣难芯糠妒絹戆l(fā)展社會科學(xué)的方法論體系。
[Abstract]:Social science mainly studies two kinds of objects, one is individual and its belief, value, choice and action, the other is social organization or social phenomenon such as country, enterprise, law, culture and so on. Can things at the social level be restored to individuals and their actions? If so, how will such a restore be implemented, and what information will be lost during the restore process? It is the basic purport of reductionism to reflect on the relationship between society and individual. However, as a systematic science, social science is generally regarded as anti-reductionism. This article does not entirely agree with this view. The validity of science is based on the rationality of its interpretation. According to the position of empiricism, the interpretation of social science should also conform to the fact of experience. In this sense, reductionism has certain rationality. Reductionism is one of the core topics of social science philosophy. It has very important theoretical value to social science and philosophy of science. This paper consists of three chapters and five parts of concluding remarks. The preface mainly covers the significance and purpose of the thesis, the research status at home and abroad, the content and innovation of the paper. The first chapter of the text combs the historical background of reductionism, deeply analyzes the philosophical connotation of reductionism, and defines reductionism from the angle of social science. The second chapter summarizes the core debates on ontology, epistemology and explanation in the field of social science. On this basis, the applicability of reductionism in social science is analyzed briefly. The third chapter focuses on how to apply reductionism in social sciences and introduces two ways of explaining reductionism in social sciences. The conclusion of the paper reveals the significance of reductionism to social science, points out the predicament and development trend of reductionism, and puts forward the standpoint of this paper. Social science cannot completely get rid of the influence of reductionism. It is suggested that from the standpoint of empiricism, the endless controversy between reductionism and anti-reductionism should be reduced, and the methodology system of social science should be developed by using the pluralistic research paradigm.
