【摘要】：這篇文章處理了遞歸的模式在印度藝術(印度寺廟建筑與梵文詩律)與印度數(shù)學中的重要作用。同時對于萊布尼茲序列(Leibniz series)的瑪達瓦(Mādhava)推導做一個具體的形式化的重構,并為大衛(wèi)·芒福德(David Mumford)的發(fā)現(xiàn)提供了證據(jù),即在印度數(shù)學中遞歸是一個重要的證明方法。
