本次翻譯實(shí)踐項目選自《思想者指南》系列從書的大眾篇—《識別邏輯謬誤》。該書是美國思辨大師理查德.保羅博士和琳達(dá).埃爾德博士所共著的一本哲學(xué)科普讀物。譯者所譯部分為本書的第一章至第十三章。本書主要介紹了人類思維的共性,謬誤的分類以及如何識別謬誤。該書一經(jīng)出版,廣受好評,甚至被選為美國高校的課本。本次翻譯實(shí)踐報告共分為四個部分。首先進(jìn)行了任務(wù)描述,主要介紹了任務(wù)來源,任務(wù)要求和任務(wù)簡介。其次介紹了翻譯過程,主要介紹了譯前準(zhǔn)備,譯中的重難點(diǎn)和譯后的修改與潤色。譯前準(zhǔn)備主要包括資料的查找和原文文本類型分析。譯中的重難點(diǎn)主要分析了在詞匯,語句和語篇翻譯中遇到的問題。接下來介紹了案例分析,是整個報告的重點(diǎn)。譯者以紐馬克的交際理論作為基礎(chǔ),從具體案例著手,分析翻譯過程中針對詞匯,語句和語篇中的不同重難點(diǎn)而采取的不同翻譯技巧與策略。最后一部分是總結(jié),譯者概括總結(jié)概括了翻譯中得到的經(jīng)驗和教訓(xùn),并提出了仍待解決的問題。
