遼塔密教圖像義蘊(yùn)考——兼及對(duì)圖像配置的探討

【摘要】:本文以遼塔遺存上的密教圖像為研究對(duì)象,揭示出隨著遼代密教的發(fā)展,八塔信仰與密教金剛界曼荼羅相結(jié)合,將代表佛祖勝跡的八塔以五方佛的觀念集合到一塔之上,形成了對(duì)八大靈塔圖像的最新詮釋,而八塔信仰又對(duì)遼代佛塔形制、經(jīng)幢以及墓葬形制產(chǎn)生直接或間接的影響。遼人能夠吸收接受漢地七佛信仰相關(guān)經(jīng)典的翻譯,并以視覺(jué)化的大日如來(lái)圖像形式呈現(xiàn)轉(zhuǎn)輪王的形象,從而與追求純密且揉合了華嚴(yán)信仰的遼代密教結(jié)合發(fā)展出七佛造像的新形式。通過(guò)對(duì)上述圖像和信仰的解讀,從中可見(jiàn)遼代密教對(duì)遼塔圖像義蘊(yùn)和配置的影響。
[Abstract]:This paper takes the image of secret religion on the remains of the Liao pagoda as the research object, and reveals that with the development of the secret religion in the Liao Dynasty, the eight pagoda beliefs are combined with the Emery mandala of the secret religion, and the eight pagodas, which represent the Buddha's victory, are assembled on one tower with the concept of the five Buddhas. It forms the latest interpretation of the images of the eight pagodas, and the belief of the eight pagodas has a direct or indirect effect on the pagodas of the Liao Dynasty, through the buildings and tombs. The Liao people were able to absorb and accept translations of the relevant scriptures of the seven Buddhas of the Han Dynasty and present the image of the wheel king in the form of a visual image of the Great Day Tathagata. Thus, with the pursuit of pure secrecy and the combination of Hua Yan belief in the Liao Dynasty, the secret religion developed a new form of the seven Buddhas. Through the interpretation of the above images and beliefs, we can see the influence of the secret religion on the meaning and disposition of the Liao pagoda image.
