[Abstract]:The tomb of the South Yue King of Guangzhou is the tomb of Zhao Wei (Hu), the second generation of the Western Han Dynasty. The cultural relics unearthed from the tomb are of various types, unique shapes, exquisite workmanship, and the tomb is well preserved and has not been excavated, so this batch of cultural relics is a precious material for studying the traditional decorative patterns of South Vietnam. The tomb pattern of the King of South Vietnam is the most intuitionistic portrayal of the art of South Vietnam. Due to its own special historical background, the mixture of local and external graphic elements is an important cultural heritage in Lingnan region, which supports the historical development of this period. It shows the local special aesthetic taste and reflects the artistic characteristics of the period of South Vietnam. With the influx of new disciplines, new materials and various artistic trends of thought abroad, Chinese traditional cultural concepts have been subjected to unprecedented impact. Traditional art is also faced with the problem of how to inherit and develop in modern design, pure imitation. Simple reproduction will cause our art to flow to the surface and lose vitality. At the same time, it is my purpose to reconstruct the traditional pattern and derive the plane visual elements which have national characteristics and are in line with the development of the times. This paper takes the patterns of artifacts unearthed from the tomb of Nanyue Wang in Guangzhou as the research object, and the archaeological excavation report of the tomb of the South Vietnam King as the first-hand research material. Firstly, the patterns of the tombs of Nanyue are classified according to the subject matter as animal, plant, geometric, etc. Then using modern pattern science, graphic analysis, pattern science and other knowledge to interpret the aesthetic concept and artistic design structure of the period of Nanyu, and to analyze the visual elements and constitution rules of the pattern. Finally, by deconstructing, reorganizing, creating a series of new design patterns, providing a new way of thinking for the reuse of traditional patterns in modern design. To explore the inheritance of traditional elements in modern design and increase the cultural connotation of modern design.
