　　進入21世紀,關于東南亞國家如何應對中國崛起的討論不斷涌現(xiàn)。本文旨在探討東南亞國家對中國崛起的回應,鑒于東南亞國家并非一個統(tǒng)一的行為體,因此需要單獨對每個國家進行探討。此外,每個東南亞國家已經擁有各自不同的外交政策。因此,本文選取泰國作為一個案例來分析東南亞國家對中國崛起的回應。本文旨在理解為什么泰國會對中國采取對沖戰(zhàn)略(hedging strategy)以及他們是如何實施該種戰(zhàn)略的。已有學者試圖通過研究泰國對中國的均勢、扈從或對沖戰(zhàn)略來對這類問題進行解答。本文詳細地研究了自2001年以來泰國如何以及為何對中國采取對沖戰(zhàn)略,還有影響泰國對中國采取該種政策的主要原因是什么。本文認為泰國外交政策的處境和泰國國內統(tǒng)治精英是泰國對華形成對沖戰(zhàn)略的重要原因。泰國對華政策的形成主要是由于泰國統(tǒng)治精英對國際環(huán)境轉變的認知;泰國國內政治環(huán)境以及中國給泰國統(tǒng)治精英們提供的機遇,從而增強他們的政權合法性以便為下一任期贏得國內支持。為了探究泰國如何以及為何對中國的崛起采取對沖戰(zhàn)略,本文采用了Kuik的對沖戰(zhàn)略概念框架或風險遏制(risk-contingency)以及利益最大化(return-maximizi...
