基于語料庫的國際海事組織示范課程中的動(dòng)詞特征研究

動(dòng)詞是句子的核心,表達(dá)主體的動(dòng)作或描述主體的狀態(tài),為句子提供中心意義。理解和習(xí)得一門語言的核心在于學(xué)會(huì)如何靈活地使用不同形式的動(dòng)詞。因此,語言研究應(yīng)將動(dòng)詞作為首要的考慮因素之一。國際海事組織(IMO)開發(fā)了一系列示范課程,旨在幫助各締約國履行STCW公約,保證航海新技術(shù)、新技能和新觀念能更快地得以推廣。目前人們對(duì)于示范課程的語言缺乏關(guān)注,這在一定程度上會(huì)影響示范課程開發(fā)的質(zhì)量和使用者對(duì)課程的理解。本文以自建語料庫MCC為基礎(chǔ),以布魯姆的教學(xué)目標(biāo)分類法、夸克的動(dòng)詞非謂語用法等為框架,采用語料庫的方法對(duì)示范課程中動(dòng)詞的分布、分類及用法進(jìn)行研究,并總結(jié)其特征。研究結(jié)果表明,IMO示范課程中的動(dòng)詞在以下三個(gè)層面有著顯著的特征。在分布層面,前150個(gè)高頻動(dòng)詞大多為實(shí)義動(dòng)詞。使用頻率最高動(dòng)詞的為be,have,use,require,explain等,其中be的頻率遠(yuǎn)高于其他動(dòng)詞。在分類層面,高頻動(dòng)詞可以劃分為知道、理解、應(yīng)用、分析、綜合、評(píng)價(jià)六類,其中每類代表的是學(xué)習(xí)者需要實(shí)現(xiàn)的課程目標(biāo)。在用法層面,高頻動(dòng)詞的高頻搭配主要用來介紹專業(yè)術(shù)語、闡明知識(shí)點(diǎn)的細(xì)節(jié)與重要性、課程目標(biāo)、課程作用等;在示范課...
