學術期刊是學術研究成果的重要載體,是及時傳播學術研究成果的一種重要形式,它既為學者們提供了及時發(fā)表和了解研究成果的機會,也提供了進行學術交流和學術爭鳴、辯論的園地。西方英文學術期刊除了學術論文,還包含編輯導讀、讀者來信、書評、新聞欄等語類,它們在學術團體成員間的交流中也起著不容忽視的作用。近年來,越來越多的學者對學術論文的體裁進行了較為全面而深入的研究,但對其它幾個語類的研究卻相當有限,所以本文選擇編輯導讀為研究對象,旨在找出并分析其宏觀結構及主要語言特點,以及學科差異對其的影響。本研究從國外英文學術期刊中首先選取4種醫(yī)學類期刊,時間跨度為2002年至2007年,然后從中選取了36篇編輯導讀組成語料庫MC。隨后以同樣的方法選取4種社會科學類期刊,然后從中選取36篇編輯導讀,組成語料庫SSC。在對這72篇編輯導讀進行體裁分析時運用了Swales （1990）的語步分析方法對各語義單位進行分析,同時對分析的結果用SPSS進行統(tǒng)計,計算出各自語步出現(xiàn)的頻數(shù),然后對其中的差異進行討論,最后從詞匯層面進行分析比較,初步探討了編輯導讀的宏觀體裁結構和詞匯特征。研究結果顯示兩個語料庫中的編輯導讀都有...
