【摘要】：根據(jù)《商務印書館圖書目錄(1897—1949)》一書所收錄的英文書目,1949年前商務印書館出版了714種英文圖書,建立起從學習讀物、大中小學教材、字典辭典到學術論著等全方位英文出版產(chǎn)業(yè)形態(tài)。英文出版不僅是構筑商務產(chǎn)業(yè)大廈的堅實基礎,也是其推動英語學習熱潮、多方面引入外國新知、自主傳播中國文化、促進中西文化雙向傳播的有效媒介,對當今的中國出版走出去具有重要意義。
[Abstract]:According to the English bibliography of the Business Press Book Catalog (1897 / 1949), the Business Press published 714 English books before 1949, and established learning materials and textbooks for primary and secondary schools. Dictionaries to academic works and other omni-directional forms of the English publishing industry. English publishing is not only a solid foundation for the building of business industry, but also an effective medium for promoting the upsurge of English learning, introducing new knowledge from foreign countries, spreading Chinese culture independently and promoting the two-way communication of Chinese and western cultures. It is of great significance for today's Chinese publishing to go out.
