【摘要】：清末,外患迭起,內(nèi)憂深重,國家、民族徘徊在生死存亡的關(guān)頭,《東方雜志》即在這種背景下誕生。雖然背后的出資方商務(wù)印書館是一個(gè)商業(yè)組織,但是和清術(shù)眾多的政論報(bào)刊一樣,《東方雜志》的出資者及主持者亦對(duì)它寄予了言論救國的政治期望,且初期的主持者張?jiān)獫?jì)、孟森等人又是堅(jiān)定的立憲派,于是,這數(shù)年間,《東方雜志》一直不遺余力、不惜篇幅地鼓吹立憲。甚至有學(xué)者謂“《東方雜志》是期刊中憲政論之最具規(guī)模者”。那么,作為一份政治傾向鮮明的刊物,它是如何做立憲宣傳的,本文將以政治傳播理論為研究視角,從雜志所處的時(shí)代背景、主持人的政治經(jīng)歷、雜志內(nèi)容等方面來做簡(jiǎn)要探討。 論文第一章首先梳理了政治傳播的概念。雖然政治傳播活動(dòng)由來已久,但是到底何謂政治傳播,至今學(xué)界仍無定論。筆者通過梳理國內(nèi)外學(xué)者對(duì)政治傳播的定義發(fā)現(xiàn),雖然表述不同,但大體上學(xué)者們都認(rèn)為政治傳播即關(guān)涉政治的傳播活動(dòng)。因此,《東方雜志》在清末的立憲宣傳完全可以視為一種政治傳播活動(dòng),本文的研究也就有了學(xué)理的依據(jù)。此外,第一章還對(duì)《東方雜志》本身做了簡(jiǎn)單介紹,以便為后文的論述奠定基礎(chǔ)。 論文第二章從主持者及選報(bào)來源兩個(gè)方面論述《東方雜志》的政治傾向,因?yàn)檫@兩個(gè)方面直接影響著雜志在立憲宣傳中的話語表達(dá)。對(duì)于傳播者的研究是政治傳播研究的一個(gè)重要方面,就本文所框定的時(shí)間段即1905.9—1911.5來說,主持者主要有張?jiān)獫?jì)和孟森。作為把關(guān)人,張、孟二人的政治經(jīng)歷和立場(chǎng)必然會(huì)間接影響到雜志的話語表達(dá)。此外,創(chuàng)辦初期,《東方雜志》為一份選報(bào)類刊物,那么,選擇哪些報(bào)刊的文章也可從側(cè)面反映其政治立場(chǎng)。 論文第三章主要介紹了《東方雜志》所處的時(shí)代背景,政治傳播學(xué)認(rèn)為任何傳播活動(dòng)無不烙上時(shí)代的印跡,《東方雜志》的立憲宣傳亦不例外。本章從四個(gè)方面：政治、經(jīng)濟(jì)、思想、媒介環(huán)境來剖析時(shí)代與《東方雜志》的關(guān)系。政治上遭逢千年未有之變局,上至統(tǒng)治者,下至士人百姓都在思變,專制制度已行將就木；經(jīng)濟(jì)上西方列強(qiáng)的侵略逐步深入,中國傳統(tǒng)的自然經(jīng)濟(jì)漸趨解體；思想上民主共和與君主立憲激烈較量；媒介環(huán)境上新聞自由思想萌芽,清末新聞法制起步。 論文第四章為文本分析。本文選取了在1905年9月至1911年5月期間出版的《東方雜志》作為文本研究對(duì)象,即從二卷八期至八卷三期,共計(jì)70期。確切地說,選取了其中的165篇文章。具體而言,本文從為何立憲、如何立憲、官制改革、教育、地方自治等方面來考察《東方雜志》的清末立憲宣傳。 在晚清政府崩潰的前夕,君主立憲是風(fēng)行一時(shí)的社會(huì)思潮,《東方雜志》作為一份政論性刊物在宣揚(yáng)立憲方面產(chǎn)生了廣泛的影響,從政治傳播的角度考察《東方雜志》的立憲言論,或有一定的學(xué)術(shù)意義。
[Abstract]:At the end of Qing Dynasty, foreign troubles occurred repeatedly, and the country and nation lingered at the juncture of life and death. Orient magazine was born under this background. Although the backer of the business press is a commercial organization, like the numerous political commentaries in Qing Dynasty, the sponsors and moderators of Oriental Magazine have also placed political expectations on it to save the country, and Zhang Yuanji, the initial moderator. Mencius and others are staunch constitutionalists, so Eastern Magazine has been sparing no effort in advocating constitutionalism for years. Some scholars even say that "Oriental Magazine" is the largest constitutional theory in the journal. Well, as a publication with a clear political orientation, how does it do the publicity of constitutionalism? this paper will take the theory of political communication as a research angle, from the background of the times in which the magazine is located, and from the host's political experience. Do a brief discussion on the contents of magazines and so on. The first chapter combs the concept of political communication. Although the activities of political communication have a long history, there is still no conclusion as to what political communication is. By combing the definition of political communication at home and abroad, the author finds that although the expression is different, on the whole, scholars think that political communication is related to political communication activities. Therefore, the publication of the Eastern Journal in the late Qing Dynasty can be regarded as a kind of political communication activity, and the research of this paper has a theoretical basis. In addition, the first chapter also gives a brief introduction to Oriental Magazine itself in order to lay a foundation for the later discussion. The second chapter discusses the political tendency of Orient Magazine from two aspects: the moderator and the source of newspaper selection, because these two aspects directly affect the discourse expression of the magazine in the publicity of constitutionalism. The study of communicators is an important aspect of the study of political communication. As far as the time period defined in this paper is 1905.9-1911.5, the main hosts are Zhang Yuanji and Munson. As a gatekeeper, Zhang and Meng's political experience and position will indirectly affect the magazine's discourse. In addition, at the beginning of its establishment, Orient magazine was a newspaper selection publication, so choosing which newspaper articles could also reflect its political position from the side. The third chapter mainly introduces the background of the oriental magazine. The political communication theory holds that any communication activities are branded with the imprint of the times, and the constitutional propaganda of Orient magazine is no exception. This chapter analyzes the relationship between the times and Oriental magazine from four aspects: politics, economy, thought and media environment. In politics, there has been no change in the past thousand years, from the rulers to the people, the autocratic system is on the verge of death, the invasion of the Western powers has gradually deepened, and the traditional natural economy of China has gradually disintegrated. In ideology, democratic republic and constitutional monarchy compete intensely; in media environment, the idea of freedom of the press sprout, and the legal system of news started in the late Qing Dynasty. Chapter four is text analysis. This paper selects Orient Magazine published between September 1905 and May 1911 as the object of study, that is, from two volumes eight to eight volumes three issues, a total of 70 issues. To be exact, 165 articles were selected. Specifically, this paper examines the publication of the Eastern Journal in the late Qing Dynasty from the aspects of why, how, the government system reform, education, local autonomy and so on. On the eve of the collapse of the government in the late Qing Dynasty, constitutional monarchy was a popular social trend of thought. As a political journal, Oriental magazine had a wide influence in publicizing constitutionalism. It may be of academic significance to investigate the constitutionalism of Oriental Journal from the angle of political communication.
