　　外國(guó)直接投資（FDI）被定義為反映外國(guó)直接投資者（居住在一個(gè)經(jīng)濟(jì)體）,另一經(jīng)濟(jì)體（外國(guó)子公司）的企業(yè)的持久利益和控制權(quán)的投資。外國(guó)直接投資流入包括外國(guó)直接投資者向外國(guó)子公司提供的資本,或外國(guó)直接投資者從外國(guó)子公司獲得的資本。從另一經(jīng)濟(jì)體的角度來看,外國(guó)直接投資流出量代表相同的流量。外國(guó)直接投資流量以凈額為基礎(chǔ),減去貸方減去債務(wù)。因此,在反向投資或撤資的情況下,外國(guó)直接投資可能是負(fù)面的。外國(guó)直接投資存量是非居民母公司應(yīng)占的資本和儲(chǔ)備金額加上外國(guó)子公司對(duì)母公司的凈債務(wù)。蒙古的地理位置與該地區(qū)和世界上最大的經(jīng)濟(jì)和政治力量緊密相連,呈現(xiàn)出各種挑戰(zhàn)和機(jī)遇。隨著俄羅斯與中國(guó)之間的經(jīng)濟(jì)和政治關(guān)系日益密切,蒙古將從貿(mào)易和相互依存的增加中受益。同樣,接近世界上最大的工業(yè)商品消費(fèi)者本身就是吸引外國(guó)投資進(jìn)入蒙古的主要催化劑。蒙古擁有廣闊的領(lǐng)土和內(nèi)陸國(guó)家,位于亞洲大陸的中心。采礦業(yè)是蒙古國(guó)民經(jīng)濟(jì)的重要組成部分。煤,銅和金是蒙古的主要儲(chǔ)量。蒙古的大型采礦項(xiàng)目包括Tavan Tolgoi（TT）煤礦和Oyu Tolgoi（OT）銅礦和金礦。采礦業(yè)是蒙古最重要的經(jīng)濟(jì)部門,約占該國(guó)工業(yè)總產(chǎn)值的一半,占出口收入的40%...
