[Abstract]:On June 9 th, BP Company released the latest World Energy Statistics Yearbook. Global primary energy consumption rose by just 1.0 percent in 2015, well below the 10-year average, according to the data. Oil remains the world's leading fuel, accounting for 32.9 percent of global energy consumption; coal is the second largest fuel with a market share of 29.2percent; and natural gas has 23.8percent of primary energy consumption. With the exception of Europe and Eurasia, energy consumption growth in other regions is below the average of nearly a decade. China's energy consumption rose 1.5 percent in 2015, the lowest level in nearly 20 years. Nevertheless, China is still the world's largest energy growth market in 15 years. < BP World Energy Outlook
