中國的民族問題與20世紀50年代的“民族識別”

【摘要】:自1949年以來,中國參照蘇聯(lián)模式建成一個"多民族國家",在50年代開展了"民族識別"工作,政府組織專家學者深入各地調查,最后正式"識別"出56個"民族",這樣一個民族格局構成了現(xiàn)今中國民族關系的基本框架和所有制度、政策設計實踐的基礎。為了更加深入地分析建國后60年中國在民族工作方面的實踐,反思在民族工作中出現(xiàn)的經(jīng)驗和教訓,重新思考并開展對50年代"民族識別"工作的口述史調查,分析當時的歷史條件和社會背景,討論這一格局對今天中國民族問題的影響是非常有必要的。本文討論了中國民族問題的基本特點,民族問題研究者面對的幾大難題,簡略分析了"民族識別"工作的基本情況。半個世紀過去了,我們在思想和觀念上得到解放,學術理論上也開闊了視野,對于20世紀50年代"民族識別"工作的再認識,理應成為今后中國族群問題一個重要研究的專題。
[Abstract]:Since 1949, China has built up a "multi-ethnic state" with reference to the Soviet model. In the 1950s, it carried out the work of "national identification," and the government organized experts and scholars to conduct in-depth investigations throughout the region. Finally, 56 "nationalities" are formally identified. Such a national pattern constitutes the basic framework of the present Chinese ethnic relations and the basis of all systems, policies and practices. In order to deeply analyze the practice of ethnic work in China 60 years after the founding of the people's Republic of China, to reflect on the experiences and lessons learned in the work of ethnic work, and to re-think and carry out the oral history investigation on the work of "national identification" in the 1950s, It is necessary to analyze the historical conditions and social background and discuss the influence of this pattern on the ethnic problems in China today. This paper discusses the basic characteristics of ethnic problems in China, several difficult problems faced by the researchers of ethnic problems, and briefly analyzes the basic situation of the work of "national identification". Half a century has passed and we have been liberated in our thoughts and concepts, and our academic and theoretical fields have widened. The reunderstanding of the work of "national identification" in the 1950s should be an important research topic in China in the future.
