【摘要】：18至19世紀(jì),西方傳教活動(dòng)為對(duì)外界一無(wú)所知的阿拉伯人打開(kāi)了一扇"天窗",使他們突然接觸到西方先進(jìn)的科技與革命思想,讓這些在奧斯曼土耳其政府"愚民"政策統(tǒng)治下的人們從中世紀(jì)的酣夢(mèng)中驚醒,阿拉伯民族意識(shí)逐漸在人們的心中燃起。本文以阿拉伯民族意識(shí)覺(jué)醒的發(fā)軔之地——沙姆地區(qū)為例,探討了西方傳教士在阿拉伯民族覺(jué)醒過(guò)程中所發(fā)揮的重要作用。
[Abstract]:From 18 to 19th century, Western missionary activities opened a "skylight" for Arabs who knew nothing about the outside world, bringing them suddenly into contact with advanced Western science and technology and revolutionary ideas. Let these people under the Ottoman government's "folly" policy wake up from the deep dreams of the Middle Ages, The Arab national consciousness is gradually kindled in people's hearts. Taking Sham region, the origin of Arab national consciousness awakening, as an example, this paper discusses the important role played by western missionaries in the process of Arab national awakening.
