【摘要】：與科學(xué)說明相比,數(shù)學(xué)說明在數(shù)學(xué)哲學(xué)中長期遭到忽視。蒯因提出的不可或缺性論證、愛因斯坦-維格納之謎以及數(shù)學(xué)哲學(xué)對數(shù)學(xué)實踐的日趨重視,使數(shù)學(xué)說明重返哲學(xué)議程。數(shù)學(xué)自身內(nèi)部對說明的需求和自然現(xiàn)象的數(shù)學(xué)說明都表明,數(shù)學(xué)不僅求真,而且尋求說明。哲學(xué)的使命就是要建立數(shù)學(xué)說明的相應(yīng)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)、機(jī)制和模型,為數(shù)學(xué)決策提供建議,并推進(jìn)對數(shù)學(xué)的本性、數(shù)學(xué)與世界及科學(xué)之關(guān)聯(lián)的理解,為數(shù)學(xué)與科學(xué)統(tǒng)一的哲學(xué)解釋搭建通道。
[Abstract]:Compared with scientific explanation, mathematical explanation has been neglected for a long time in mathematical philosophy. Quine put forward the indispensable argument, the riddle of Einstein Wagner and the increasing attention of mathematical philosophy to mathematical practice. To return mathematical explanation to the philosophical agenda. The mathematical description of the need for explanation and natural phenomena within mathematics itself shows that mathematics not only seeks truth, but also seeks explanation. The mission of philosophy is to establish corresponding standards for mathematical explanation. The mechanism and model provide advice for mathematical decision-making, and promote the understanding of the nature of mathematics, the relationship between mathematics and the world and science, and build a channel for the philosophical interpretation of the unity of mathematics and science.
