基于射頻倍頻信號(hào)驅(qū)動(dòng)雙平行馬赫曾德調(diào)制器產(chǎn)生光頻梳

【摘要】:為克服傳統(tǒng)正交頻分復(fù)用及波分復(fù)用系統(tǒng)以激光序列作為多載波光源帶來(lái)的不易協(xié)調(diào)同步、成本高等缺點(diǎn),利用正弦型射頻信號(hào)與其倍頻信號(hào)驅(qū)動(dòng)單個(gè)雙平行馬赫曾德調(diào)制器,對(duì)連續(xù)光載波進(jìn)行調(diào)制,在較低的驅(qū)動(dòng)電壓下,產(chǎn)生了具有2條、3條、4條、5條、7條及9條譜線的平坦光頻梳.其中,具有2、3、5條譜線的光頻梳平坦度均為0dB,邊模抑制比均在30dB左右;具有4、7、9條譜線的光頻梳平坦度在1dB范圍內(nèi),邊模抑制均比高于18dB.該方法結(jié)構(gòu)簡(jiǎn)單,成本低,易協(xié)調(diào),與現(xiàn)有技術(shù)相比,產(chǎn)生的光頻梳平坦度更高、邊模抑制比更大、射頻驅(qū)動(dòng)電壓更低且條數(shù)更為多樣.
[Abstract]:In order to overcome the disadvantages of the traditional orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDDM) and wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) systems, such as difficult coordination and high cost brought by laser sequence as multi-carrier light source, a single dual parallel Mach Zende modulator is driven by sinusoidal RF signal and its frequency doubling signal. By modulating the continuous optical carriers, a flat optical comb with two lines, three lines, four lines, five lines, seven lines and nine lines is produced at a lower driving voltage. Among them, the flattening degree of optical frequency comb with 2 ~ 3 ~ 3 ~ 5 lines is 0 dB, the edge-mode suppression ratio is about 30 dB, and the flattening degree of optical frequency comb with 4 ~ 7 ~ 9 lines is higher than 18 dB in the range of 1 dB. Compared with the prior art, this method has the advantages of simple structure, low cost and easy coordination. Compared with the prior art, the optical comb has higher flattening degree, larger edge-mode rejection ratio, lower RF driving voltage and more diverse bars.
