THERMOELECTRIC PROPERTIES OF ZnO BASEDTHERMOELECTRIC MATERIA

  本文研究了摻雜元素和燒結(jié)氣氛等工藝條件對(duì)ZnO陶瓷熱電性能的影響。ZnO是一類具有寬帶隙(室溫3.37 eV)、大激活能(60 meV)、高Seebeck系數(shù)和高電導(dǎo)率和高熔點(diǎn)(1975℃)的半導(dǎo)體材料。相對(duì)于其它氧化物熱電材料,ZnO具有較高的功率因子,有可能成為優(yōu)異的高溫區(qū)熱電材料。但是較高的晶格熱導(dǎo)率不利于ZnO熱電性能的進(jìn)一步提高。本畢業(yè)論文旨在保持ZnO的功率因子其不變的情況下,通過(guò)進(jìn)一步降低ZnO的晶格熱導(dǎo)率,以期達(dá)到提高ZnO熱電性能的目標(biāo)。本文首先確定了傳統(tǒng)的固相反應(yīng)法合成ZnO陶瓷樣品的最佳條件。研究了不同球磨時(shí)間對(duì)熱電性能的影響,發(fā)現(xiàn)實(shí)現(xiàn)最佳熱電性能的球磨時(shí)間一般是15小時(shí)。通過(guò)球磨可以影響材料的各項(xiàng)性能,因此球磨技術(shù)是合成純凈和摻雜的ZnO關(guān)鍵工藝流程之一。實(shí)驗(yàn)中發(fā)現(xiàn)使用濕法研磨,行星球磨機(jī)單向旋轉(zhuǎn),轉(zhuǎn)速為2O5rpm時(shí),能夠得到均勻的混合物。燒結(jié)氛圍是影響材料熱電性質(zhì)的另一個(gè)重要因素。ZnO在存在氧空位時(shí)很不穩(wěn)定,所以找到一個(gè)合適的燒結(jié)氛圍非常重要。同樣組分的樣品放在不同的氛圍下燒結(jié)得到的Seebeck系數(shù)也不同。研究發(fā)現(xiàn)在氬氣環(huán)境下燒結(jié)樣品的Seebeck系數(shù)...
