光纖中慢光群折射率限定特性研究

【摘要】:粒子在基態(tài)和亞穩(wěn)態(tài)之間的振蕩會(huì)導(dǎo)致探測(cè)光吸收的降低,而探測(cè)光束在很窄的頻率范圍內(nèi)吸收的降低,會(huì)使介質(zhì)的感生折射率在同樣范圍內(nèi)迅速變化,從而改變?nèi)赫凵渎蕁g=n(ω)+ωdn/dω。本文利用光纖慢光理論,對(duì)不同條件下的群折射率限定和群速度的變化特性展開(kāi)討論。群折射率隨光纖長(zhǎng)度的增加而降低,不同離子濃度的摻鉺光纖中慢光的感生群折射率均隨調(diào)制頻率的增加而降低,同時(shí)在不同的調(diào)制頻率條件下,群折射率隨入射信號(hào)光強(qiáng)度的增大均有一個(gè)飽和的過(guò)程。
[Abstract]:The oscillation of particles between ground state and metastable state will lead to the decrease of the absorption of probe light, while the decrease of absorption of probe beam in a narrow frequency range will cause the induced refractive index of the medium to change rapidly in the same range, thus changing the group refractive index ngn (蠅) 蠅 dn/d 蠅. In this paper, the limiting of group refractive index and the variation of group velocity under different conditions are discussed by using the theory of optical fiber slow light. The group refractive index decreases with the increase of fiber length, and the induced group refractive index of slow light in erbium doped fiber with different ion concentration decreases with the increase of modulation frequency. The group refractive index has a saturation process with the increase of the intensity of the incident signal.
