模因論視角下的“X-哥”

【摘要】:近年來(lái),大量的流行詞語(yǔ)在網(wǎng)絡(luò)上出現(xiàn)并得到迅速的傳播,如“X-門”、“山寨”、“給力”等,這些詞的意義都越來(lái)越脫離本初意義,成為流行的新詞酷語(yǔ)。2010年,“犀利哥”在網(wǎng)上大量傳播并引起人們的廣泛關(guān)注,各類“X-哥”隨之涌現(xiàn),同時(shí)“哥”的語(yǔ)義也發(fā)生了一定程度的變化。 目前,國(guó)內(nèi)學(xué)者主要是從社會(huì)語(yǔ)言學(xué)、心理語(yǔ)言學(xué)、語(yǔ)義學(xué)等視角對(duì)“X-哥”進(jìn)行研究,但大部分研究都局限在對(duì)“X-哥”流行的原因或個(gè)別“X-哥”的意義的解釋上,很少有研究從語(yǔ)料庫(kù)的角度對(duì)“X-哥”進(jìn)行系統(tǒng)分析。因此,在現(xiàn)有研究和語(yǔ)料庫(kù)的基礎(chǔ)上,本文從模因論的角度探析“X-哥”的特征,預(yù)測(cè)其能否成為強(qiáng)勢(shì)模音。研究“X-哥”能夠清楚地展現(xiàn)其意義發(fā)展的歷程并可預(yù)測(cè)其在詞典中的地位,同時(shí)本研究的研究方法對(duì)同類新詞酷語(yǔ)的研究也有一定的借鑒作用。 模因論是基于達(dá)爾文進(jìn)化論的觀點(diǎn)解釋文化進(jìn)化規(guī)律的一種新理論,試圖對(duì)文化具有傳承性這一本質(zhì)特征加以詮釋。根據(jù)現(xiàn)有理論,成功模因具有三大特點(diǎn):長(zhǎng)壽性、多產(chǎn)性和保真性。本文運(yùn)用文本分析的方法對(duì)“X-哥”進(jìn)行研究,首先通過百度和谷歌兩大搜索引擎收集大量語(yǔ)料,然后對(duì)這些語(yǔ)料進(jìn)行分類統(tǒng)計(jì),最后從成功模因的三大特點(diǎn)出發(fā)分析“X-哥”的特征,并據(jù)此預(yù)測(cè)其能否成為強(qiáng)勢(shì)模因。通過查閱國(guó)內(nèi)一些權(quán)威詞典,本研究發(fā)現(xiàn),迄今為止,還沒有字典對(duì)“X-哥”進(jìn)行闡釋,,所以“X-哥”在長(zhǎng)壽性方面表現(xiàn)值低;通過對(duì)“X-哥”整體生產(chǎn)量和組合能力的分析,本文發(fā)現(xiàn),從數(shù)量上看“X-哥”有很強(qiáng)的生產(chǎn)力,從組合能力上看“X-哥”中的“X”可以是不同詞性、不同音節(jié)結(jié)構(gòu)的詞語(yǔ),因此“X-哥”在多產(chǎn)性方面表現(xiàn)值高;通過對(duì)“X-哥”在年齡、基因關(guān)系、性別、親密和尊重這五方面的表現(xiàn)值進(jìn)行研究,本研究發(fā)現(xiàn),“X-哥”只在性別方面保留原有信息模式,因此“X-哥”在保真性方面表現(xiàn)值低。根據(jù)模因論,只有在保真性、多產(chǎn)性和長(zhǎng)壽性三方面表現(xiàn)值均比較高的模因,才有可能成為成功模因。因此,跟現(xiàn)有研究普遍看法相反,本文認(rèn)為,“X-哥”不太可能成為強(qiáng)勢(shì)模因。
[Abstract]:In recent years, a large number of popular words have appeared on the Internet and been spread rapidly, such as "X-Men", "Shanzhai", "Geli" and so on. "Brother Sharp" has been widely spread on the Internet and aroused widespread concern. All kinds of "X- Brother" have emerged, and the meaning of "Brother" has also changed to a certain extent. At present, domestic scholars mainly study "X-Brother" from the perspectives of sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics and semantics, but most of the studies are confined to the explanation of the reasons for the popularity of "X-Brother" or the meaning of individual "X-Brother". Few studies have systematically analyzed X- Brother from the perspective of corpus. Therefore, on the basis of existing research and corpus, this paper analyzes the characteristics of "X- Brother" from the perspective of memetics, and predicts whether it can become a strong sound. The study of "X- Brother" can clearly show the course of its meaning development and predict its position in the dictionary. At the same time, the research method of this study can also be used for reference in the study of the same kind of new words "cool words". Memetics is a new theory to explain the law of cultural evolution based on Darwin's theory of evolution. According to existing theories, successful memes have three characteristics: longevity, prolificacy and fidelity. This article uses the text analysis method to carry on the research to "X-GE", first through Baidu and the Google two big search engines collects the massive corpus, then carries on the classification statistics to these corpus, Finally, this paper analyzes the characteristics of "X- Brother" from the three characteristics of successful memes, and predicts whether they can become strong memes. By consulting some authoritative dictionaries in China, this study found that, so far, no dictionary has explained "X-Brother", so "X-Brother" has a low performance in longevity, and through the analysis of "X-Brother" 's overall production and combinatorial ability, This paper finds that "X-Brother" has strong productivity in terms of quantity, and "X" in "X-Brother" can be a word of different parts of speech and different syllable structure from the point of view of combination ability, so "X-Brother" has a high value in prolificacy; By studying the expression values of "X-Brother" in five aspects: age, genetic relationship, sex, intimacy and respect, it was found that X-Brother retained only the original information pattern in terms of gender. As a result, "X-Brother" in fidelity performance value is low. According to memetics, it is possible to become a successful meme only if the memes with higher values in fidelity, prolificacy and longevity. Therefore, contrary to the existing research, this paper argues that X-Brother is unlikely to be a strong meme.
