First of all, the characteristics oftheclimatechamber were analyzed, and based on a realproject proposed the specification of the environment and control parameters and requirements offunctions. According to the basic design for distributed system,thedistributed intelligent monitoring/Controlling system forclimatechamber has been presented in this paper. By using the open DCStechnology, this system munication between the original closed system and third-party equipments. Furthermore, a high-end PLC program and a low-end MCU program have beenrealized step by step. And then, by using of the open interface of a installed engineer stations(ES), a perfect integration of the two programs has been achieved essfully. Users can configurethe system according to project progress, technical requirements, and the availability of funds.Consequently the cost of DCSsystem construction and maintenance has been reduced.Second, the basic elements for DCS system are ES, operator station (OS), I/O controller, work.All these items have been introduced separately in this paper: the ES configurationand puter program for ES open interface realization; the specific OS, I/O controller working configuration in PLC program; the man-machine interface of LCD OS and itsrealization in terms of hardware and software, and the construction of RS485 working.Key words:Climate Chamber, DCS, PLC, MCU, ,()11.1[1][2-4][5][6][7][8]-70°C-40°C2[9-12]F.
