面向非易失存儲器外存系統(tǒng)的緩存機制
[Abstract]:Non-volatile memory has access speed close to that of big data, which is an important means to build high-performance external memory system and improve the performance of big data system. However, non-volatile memory has some problems such as limited write times and high write energy consumption. In this paper, the cache technology is introduced, the write cache is used to merge the multiple write operations to the same data, the number of writes to the non-volatile memory is reduced, the original cache is used to reduce the amount of data written back to the non-volatile memory. The hybrid granularity management algorithm of write cache, double cache coordination algorithm and cache space coordination strategy are designed, which can reduce the amount of write data of non-volatile memory, increase the service life of external memory system, reduce the energy consumption of external memory system, and improve the performance of I / O. Finally, an open source object based storage device, Open-osd, is implemented to realize the prototype of memory cache mechanism for non-volatile memory system. The memory system general testing tools Filebench and Postmarkand several common data sets are used to test and analyze. It is verified that the buffer mechanism of the non-volatile memory system can reduce the external memory and write data by 21% or 77%, improve the I / O performance of 8% / 37%, and verify the effectiveness of the buffer mechanism for the non-volatile memory system.
