【摘要】：在全球節(jié)能減排的大趨勢(shì)下,能效評(píng)估已成為各國推動(dòng)節(jié)能減排的重要手段。在服務(wù)器設(shè)備領(lǐng)域,隨著人們對(duì)服務(wù)器性能需求的不斷滿足,能源消耗卻成為各大企業(yè)和數(shù)據(jù)中心TCO的一個(gè)巨大挑戰(zhàn)。當(dāng)前國外已經(jīng)有主要研究機(jī)構(gòu)開展服務(wù)器系統(tǒng)能效評(píng)估的研究工作。但已應(yīng)用的能效評(píng)估方案多采用服務(wù)器的整機(jī)功率和性能作為主要衡量依據(jù),而整體功率測(cè)試方法只關(guān)注服務(wù)器設(shè)備在固定配置下在某一測(cè)試負(fù)載下的功耗情況。由于現(xiàn)在服務(wù)器配置非常靈活,可擴(kuò)展性強(qiáng),一塊主板可以放置多顆多核CPU,插多塊內(nèi)存,以及可構(gòu)成簇的磁盤陣列結(jié)構(gòu)：因此,不可忽略服務(wù)器硬件升級(jí)導(dǎo)致性能提升和其能耗影響。 本論文以當(dāng)前服務(wù)器節(jié)能減排技術(shù)研究為基礎(chǔ),分析服務(wù)器各部件性能與能耗,并針對(duì)國外服務(wù)器整體能耗測(cè)試的相關(guān)研究與標(biāo)準(zhǔn),提出服務(wù)器部件級(jí)能效評(píng)估方法(SCEER)的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)建議。研究方法采取將能效評(píng)估方案研究分解為單項(xiàng)性能測(cè)試研究,功率測(cè)試研究,Web服務(wù)系統(tǒng)應(yīng)用能效研究等若干個(gè)研究分項(xiàng),以研究目標(biāo)為前提,充分考慮標(biāo)準(zhǔn)實(shí)施的可操作性,并在第四章提出了服務(wù)器能效評(píng)估系統(tǒng)的邏輯結(jié)構(gòu)、對(duì)儀表的指標(biāo)要求、測(cè)試系統(tǒng)配置等具體實(shí)施建議。 本論文研究過程中,注意將理論研究和實(shí)際數(shù)據(jù)驗(yàn)證相結(jié)合,通過改變服務(wù)器配置驗(yàn)證硬件提升是否能帶來能效的提升,對(duì)SCEER評(píng)估方法的科學(xué)性和可行性予以驗(yàn)證。
[Abstract]:Under the global trend of energy saving and emission reduction, energy efficiency assessment has become an important means for countries to promote energy saving and emission reduction. In the field of server devices, with the continuous demand for server performance, energy consumption has become a huge challenge for large enterprises and data center TCO. At present, there have been major research institutions in foreign countries to carry out research work on energy efficiency assessment of server systems. However, most of the energy efficiency evaluation schemes are based on the whole machine power and performance of the server, while the overall power test method only focuses on the power consumption of the server device under a certain test load in a fixed configuration. Now that the server is very flexible and scalable, a motherboard can place multiple cores of CPUs, insert multiple pieces of memory, and form a cluster of disk arrays: therefore, The server hardware upgrade should not be ignored as a result of improved performance and its impact on energy consumption. Based on the current research on the technology of energy saving and emission reduction of the server, this paper analyzes the performance and energy consumption of each component of the server, and aims at the relevant research and standards of the whole energy consumption test of the foreign server. The standard recommendation of server component level energy efficiency evaluation method (SCEERs) is presented. In the research methods, the energy efficiency evaluation scheme is divided into single performance test research, power test research and energy efficiency research of Web services system. Based on the research objective, the maneuverability of standard implementation is fully considered. In the fourth chapter, the logical structure of the server energy efficiency evaluation system, the index requirements of the instrument, the configuration of the test system and so on are put forward. In the course of this research, we pay attention to the combination of theoretical research and practical data verification, and verify the scientific and feasibility of SCEER evaluation method by changing the server configuration to verify whether the hardware enhancement can bring about the improvement of energy efficiency.
