[Abstract]:Engineering project management refers to the process of organization planning, organizing, directing, coordinating and controlling all work in the project cycle using the viewpoint, theory and method of systems engineering. The core task of project management is to control the project objectives, that is, quality, schedule, cost. Highway engineering has also been widely implemented project manager responsibility system of project management. Management plays an important role in highway projects, and the quality of management is not only related to the quality of highway engineering, but also to the service life and maintenance of highway projects in the future. Since the introduction of project management methods in highway engineering, a large number of research institutions and researchers at home and abroad have carried out a large number of related studies, and have achieved fruitful research results. Moreover, the research continues and deepens. Of course, different highway projects are different, the focus of management is different. The management approach adopted will also vary from project to project. Therefore, if a highway project is to be managed well, it is necessary to adopt targeted project management methods and measures according to the characteristics of the project in order to achieve the expected management objectives and results. This paper takes Longtan Bay Bridge as an example, not only the research of routine project management. It is of great significance to select the key points and carry out research in combination with the current reality. One is to carry on the comprehensive, thorough, meticulous analysis and research to the safety management, regard the safety management as the key point of the project management; second, carry on the fine, comprehensive, whole process to the project quality management, obtain the good result; Third, it is the most characteristic of project management to combine management with science and technology management, and select key projects in project management to carry out scientific research and management activities, so as to keep up with the trend of the times. In the practice of project management, we should select the key points and have strong pertinence. In order to achieve good results in project management, it is necessary to be meticulous, considerate and comprehensive in all aspects of project management without leaving any corner of management.
