    The development status of die casting process and mold design theory and method have been outlined firstly, and a fundamental framework of design technique in which the study highlights and ways of implementation for optimum and intelligent practice have been also provided. Self-creativity level of die casting processing and its mold technique can be prompted effectively by the modern design theory and method.
