鍺納米管催化的氧還原反應(yīng):催化性能和機理研究

【摘要】:應(yīng)用密度泛函理論,在DZP基組水平上研究了(5,5)型鍺納米管催化的氧還原反應(yīng)(ORR)的性能以及可能的催化機理.計算結(jié)果表明,ORR在鍺納米管上可能經(jīng)歷O_2解離、OOH解離、H_2O_2解離三種可能機理.無論是對哪種機理,整個ORR均遵循四電子反應(yīng)路徑.評估ORR性能的重要中間產(chǎn)物O和OH的吸附能分別為-4.33 eV和-2.21 eV,這與它們在貴金屬鉑(Pt)上的吸附能非常接近.此外,在GeNT上,整個ORR過程中最后一步生成的H_2O分子的吸附能僅僅為-0.05 eV,比O_2分子的吸附能弱得多,意味著整個ORR催化循環(huán)在GeNT上可以順利更替.因此,聯(lián)合ORR的反應(yīng)能量數(shù)據(jù)和中間產(chǎn)物的吸附數(shù)據(jù),可以認為(5,5)型鍺納米管具有類Pt的催化性能.溶劑效應(yīng)計算結(jié)果表明,一些反應(yīng)中間產(chǎn)物的吸附結(jié)構(gòu),如O中間體會在很大程度上受到溶劑效應(yīng)的影響.對所研究的鍺納米管來說,溶劑效應(yīng)可以促進其催化的ORR進程.
