碳納米管負(fù)載的納米Pd-Ag催化劑對(duì)乙醇和丙醇氧化的電化學(xué)活性(英文)

【摘要】:在乙二醇和水混合溶劑中,采用硼氫化鈉還原的方法制備了多壁碳納米管(MWCNT)負(fù)載的Pd和Pd-Ag納米顆粒催化劑;在堿性介質(zhì)中,用循環(huán)伏安法測(cè)試了這些催化劑對(duì)乙醇、正丙醇和異丙醇的電氧化性能。結(jié)果表明,Pd和Pd-Ag納米顆粒均勻地分散在MWCNT表面;Pd/MWCNT、Pd4Ag1/MWCNT、Pd2Ag1/MWCNT和Pd1Ag1/MWCNT催化劑上金屬顆粒的平均粒徑分別為7、4、7和11 nm。相比乙醇和異丙醇,所制備的催化劑對(duì)正丙醇的氧化表現(xiàn)出較大的電流密度。與Pd/MWCNT催化劑相比,雙金屬PdnAg1/MWCNT(n=4、2、1)催化劑,尤其是Pd4Ag1/MWCNT上的電流密度更大,表明Ag的加入提高了Pd催化劑對(duì)醇氧化的電化學(xué)活性,其原因是因?yàn)榇佳趸^程所產(chǎn)生的中間體物種在雙金屬Pd-Ag/MWCNT催化劑上的吸附力有所減弱。
[Abstract]:PD and Pd-Ag nanoparticles supported on multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) were prepared by sodium borohydride reduction in a mixed solvent of ethylene glycol and water, and the effects of these catalysts on ethanol were measured by cyclic voltammetry in alkaline medium. Electrooxidation properties of n-propanol and isopropanol. The results show that the average particle sizes of PD / MWCNT / PD / PD / Pd _ 2Ag _ 1MWCNT and Pd1Ag1/MWCNT catalysts on the surface of MWCNT are 747 and 11 nm, respectively. The results show that the average particle sizes of PD / MWCNT and Pd-Ag nanoparticles are 7 nm and 11 nm, respectively, on the surface of PD / MWCNT / Pd4Ag1 / Pd2Ag1MWCNT and Pd1Ag1/MWCNT catalysts. Compared with ethanol and isopropanol, the catalyst showed a higher current density for the oxidation of n-propanol. Compared with Pd/MWCNT catalyst, the current density of bimetallic PdnAg1 / MWCNTnTnnTnntnntntntnd1) catalyst, especially on Pd4Ag1/MWCNT, is higher than that of Pd/MWCNT catalyst, which indicates that the addition of Ag improves the electrochemical activity of PD catalyst for the oxidation of alcohols. The reason is that the adsorption of intermediate species on bimetallic Pd-Ag/MWCNT catalyst is weakened.
