基于曲線擬合函數(shù)和GPU的地形無縫渲染

【摘要】:針對大規(guī)模地形實時渲染時不同層次細(xì)節(jié)過渡產(chǎn)生的畫面不連續(xù)性問題,以及計算機(jī)實時調(diào)度大量數(shù)據(jù)而造成幀速較低的問題,提出了一種基于曲線擬合函數(shù)和GPU加速的地形實時繪制方法。根據(jù)采樣數(shù)據(jù)點采用最小二乘法構(gòu)造曲線擬合函數(shù),通過曲線函數(shù)控制不同層次網(wǎng)格頂點的布局,從而消除因?qū)哟渭?xì)節(jié)變化產(chǎn)生的裂縫。同時根據(jù)分辨率不同構(gòu)建金字塔模型,針對不同層次細(xì)節(jié)區(qū)域數(shù)據(jù)進(jìn)行有損或無損壓縮,依據(jù)視點運動預(yù)測實時解壓相應(yīng)數(shù)據(jù)。實驗表明,該方法在地形實時渲染階段,在保證了較高幀速率的同時,利用視點運動預(yù)測保證了幀速率變化小,有效地消除了裂縫,增強(qiáng)了畫面效果。
[Abstract]:In view of the problem of discontinuity in the transition of different layers of detail during real-time rendering of large scale terrain and the problem of low frame rate caused by the real-time scheduling of large amounts of data by computer, a real-time rendering method based on curve fitting function and GPU acceleration is proposed. The least squares method is used to construct the curve according to the sampling data points. The fitting function is used to control the layout of the vertex of different levels of grid through the curve function, thus eliminating the cracks caused by the changes in the level of detail. At the same time, the Pyramid model is constructed according to the difference of resolution. At the stage of real-time terrain rendering, while ensuring the higher frame rate, using the view point motion prediction to ensure that the rate of frame rate change is small, effectively eliminate the cracks and enhance the effect of the picture.
