單模光纖彎曲半徑對光纖陀螺標(biāo)度因數(shù)穩(wěn)定性的影響(英文)

【摘要】:在采用低偏和保偏混合光路的混偏光纖陀螺的光學(xué)架構(gòu)中,包含了一些單模光纖元件和單模光纖。當(dāng)單模光纖發(fā)生彎曲時,光纖中傳輸?shù)睦w芯導(dǎo)波模式和單模光纖中的界面反射波模式之間將會發(fā)生相互干涉,導(dǎo)致光的傳輸特性受到影響。提出了單模光纖彎曲對光纖陀螺標(biāo)度因數(shù)穩(wěn)定性影響的數(shù)學(xué)模型。仿真和實驗結(jié)果表明:當(dāng)溫度發(fā)生變化時,單模光纖彎曲會導(dǎo)致傳輸光的中心波長發(fā)生漂移和振蕩,從而影響光纖陀螺標(biāo)度因數(shù)穩(wěn)定性。中心波長振蕩的振幅與彎曲半徑直接相關(guān)。
[Abstract]:In the optical architecture of a hybrid fiber optic gyroscope (fog) with a low and a polarization-maintaining hybrid optical path, some single-mode fiber elements and single-mode optical fibers are included. When the single mode fiber is bent, the core guided wave mode transmitted in the fiber and the interface reflection wave mode in the single mode fiber will interfere with each other, which will affect the transmission characteristics of the light. A mathematical model of the influence of single mode fiber bending on the stability of scale factor of fiber optic gyroscope is presented. The simulation and experimental results show that when the temperature changes, the bending of single-mode fiber will lead to the drift and oscillation of the central wavelength of the transmitted light, thus affecting the stability of the scale factor of the fiber optic gyroscope. The amplitude of the central wavelength oscillation is directly related to the bending radius.
