一種應(yīng)用于低壓差線性穩(wěn)壓器的新型折返限流電路

【摘要】:針對(duì)大功率負(fù)載的電源管理芯片容易出現(xiàn)過(guò)載、短路問(wèn)題,提出一種利用采樣電流轉(zhuǎn)化為采樣電壓的限流模式折返保護(hù)電路。該電路限流環(huán)路利用緩沖器雙支路實(shí)現(xiàn)實(shí)時(shí)控制,其工作狀態(tài)隨輸入電壓有所轉(zhuǎn)變,hspices仿真實(shí)驗(yàn)驗(yàn)證了該電路限流值穩(wěn)定,基本不隨著電源電壓的變化而變化,而且芯片的短路功耗降低60%。采用聯(lián)華電子公司0.5μm 5 V的CMOS工藝線在低壓差線性穩(wěn)壓器(LDO)中進(jìn)行了投片驗(yàn)證,實(shí)測(cè)芯片常值限流200 mA、折返限流80 mA,自身靜態(tài)電流極低僅2μA左右。投片測(cè)試結(jié)果表明,該電路起到保護(hù)作用的同時(shí),符合現(xiàn)代電源管理芯片對(duì)高效率低功耗的要求。
[Abstract]:Aiming at the problem of overload and short circuit in high power load power management chip, a current limiting mode reentrant protection circuit is proposed, which is converted from sampling current to sampling voltage. The current limiting loop of the circuit realizes real-time control by using the double branches of buffer. The simulation results show that the current limiting value of the circuit is stable and does not change with the change of power supply voltage, and its working state is changed with the change of input voltage. The simulation results show that the current limiting value of the circuit is stable and does not change with the change of power supply voltage. And the short circuit power consumption of the chip is reduced by 60%. The CMOS process line of 0.5 渭 m 5 V of Lianhua Electronics Company was used to test the chip's (LDO). The measured chip's constant current limiting current was 200mA. the reverse current limiting current was 80mA, and the static current was only about 2 渭 A. The test results show that the circuit has the function of protection and meets the requirements of modern power management chip for high efficiency and low power consumption.
