[Abstract]:Recently, the European Commission approved a French proposal of 8 6.6 million euros (670 million yuan) to fund the Supergrid Institute, which was approved in March 2012. The Supergrid Institute was founded in January 2014 by 12 shareholders in the French power sector and is headquartered in Verleban, France. In the spirit of scientific cooperation, shareholders include enterprises and academic partners. The mission of the Supergrid Institute is to conduct technical research for future transport networks and continental power storage.
