　　20世紀90年代以來,西方翻譯研究突破了語言學的藩籬,進入了文化研究新領(lǐng)域。勒菲弗爾是翻譯研究文化學派的重要代表人物之一。他認為翻譯研究不僅受到語言本身的制約,還受到許多其他社會、文化、政治、經(jīng)濟等因素的操控。因此,他提出了翻譯操控論,分別從詩學、意識形態(tài)和贊助人等方面對翻譯活動進行系統(tǒng)、全面的分析。作為翻譯研究的里程碑,該理論改變了以往對翻譯現(xiàn)象的規(guī)約式研究,為翻譯作品提供了描述性研究的新渠道。珍妮·凱利和茅國權(quán)于二十世紀六十年代合譯了錢鐘書的杰作《圍城》。由于傳統(tǒng)的翻譯理論存在一定局限,本文則運用勒菲弗爾的操控論來分析譯者在翻譯《圍城》時是如何受到這三個要素的操控的,進而試圖更加客觀、全面地看待《圍城》英譯本。本文由六個部分構(gòu)成：第一部分為引言,作者在此部分中簡要介紹了本課題研究的背景和目的、研究方法、研究范圍以及本研究的意義；第二部分為文獻綜述,作為本文的研究基礎(chǔ),此部分概括介紹了《圍城》的英譯本及前人對其的研究情況,歸納出原有研究的局限性,提出本文的理論視角；第三部分介紹了本選題所采用的理論基礎(chǔ)——操控理論,介紹了其起源,發(fā)展和主要觀點等相關(guān)情況；第四部分抽樣選取原文中的文化負...
