生態(tài)翻譯學(xué)視角下中醫(yī)教材翻譯的和諧與平衡

【摘要】:隨著中西方交流的日益加深,中醫(yī)學(xué)的傳播遍布全球,中醫(yī)的國際化對中醫(yī)英譯提出了更高的要求,特別是向留學(xué)生傳播中醫(yī)專業(yè)理論知識的中醫(yī)教材,其英譯的理論和實(shí)踐研究應(yīng)引起中醫(yī)界和翻譯界的廣泛重視。本文運(yùn)用胡庚申教授“生態(tài)翻譯學(xué)”理論,從“和諧與平衡”的角度對中醫(yī)教材翻譯中譯者與翻譯生態(tài)環(huán)境的和諧,以及翻譯生態(tài)環(huán)境內(nèi)部的平衡進(jìn)行研究。本文以人民衛(wèi)生出版社2007年出版的十本中醫(yī)留學(xué)生雙語教材為語料,探討了中醫(yī)教材的特點(diǎn)及目前市面上中醫(yī)教材英譯存在的問題:譯本種類繁多,缺乏整合度;譯者缺乏中醫(yī)知識和古漢語解讀能力;一味追求經(jīng)濟(jì)利益的社會大環(huán)境使得譯者浮躁、譯文質(zhì)量下降;合譯使同一譯本風(fēng)格欠缺統(tǒng)一等。通過分析得出,這些問題產(chǎn)生的主要原因是中醫(yī)教材主、客觀翻譯生態(tài)環(huán)境的制約,其中譯者、作者、出版商、讀者等“翻譯群落”成員構(gòu)成了中醫(yī)教材的主體翻譯生態(tài)環(huán)境;而原文、譯文、社會政治、經(jīng)濟(jì)和文化背景等構(gòu)成了中醫(yī)教材的客體翻譯生態(tài)環(huán)境。本文認(rèn)為,要解決中醫(yī)教材翻譯現(xiàn)存問題,達(dá)到譯者與翻譯生態(tài)環(huán)境和諧共生,維持中醫(yī)教材的翻譯生態(tài)環(huán)境平衡,則需要“翻譯群落”成員的共同努力:譯者通過提高自身中醫(yī)翻譯水平、發(fā)揮主譯統(tǒng)領(lǐng)作用來充分保障譯者的中心地位,并在全面把握中醫(yī)教材主、客觀翻譯生態(tài)環(huán)境的前提下作出多維度的適應(yīng)與選擇;作者,即中文教材編寫者,應(yīng)根據(jù)讀者的語言水平和知識層次來確定原文的難易程度;出版商則應(yīng)在效率、數(shù)量、利益和教材質(zhì)量中尋求平衡;而目的語讀者,即留學(xué)生和中醫(yī)教師,則應(yīng)通過反饋真實(shí)需求和建議來幫助譯者進(jìn)行合理決策。只有這樣,中醫(yī)教材的譯文文本才能統(tǒng)一,其質(zhì)量亦能真正得到保障。
[Abstract]:With the deepening of exchanges between China and the West, the spread of traditional Chinese medicine has spread all over the world. The internationalization of traditional Chinese medicine has put forward higher requirements for the translation of Chinese medicine into English, especially the teaching materials for the dissemination of theoretical knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine to foreign students. The theoretical and practical research on its translation should be paid more attention to by the Chinese medicine and translation circles. Based on Professor Hu Gengshen's Theory of Ecological Translation, this paper studies the harmony between the translator and the translation ecological environment in the translation of traditional Chinese medicine textbooks from the perspective of harmony and balance, as well as the internal balance of the translation ecological environment. Based on ten bilingual textbooks of Chinese medicine students published by the people's Health Publishing House in 2007, this paper discusses the characteristics of Chinese medicine teaching materials and the problems existing in the translation of traditional Chinese medicine textbooks in the market at present: there are many kinds of translations and lack of integration; The translator lacks the knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine and the ability to interpret ancient Chinese; the social environment of pursuing economic interests causes the translator to be impetuous and the quality of the translation drops; the co-translation makes the style of the same translation lack of unity. Through analysis, it is concluded that the main causes of these problems are the constraints of the main body of traditional Chinese medicine textbooks and the objective translation ecological environment, in which translators, authors, publishers, readers and other members of the "translation community" constitute the main translation ecological environment of traditional Chinese medicine textbooks. The original, translation, social political, economic and cultural background constitute the ecological environment of the translation of TCM textbooks. This paper argues that we should solve the existing problems in the translation of traditional Chinese medicine textbooks, achieve a harmonious coexistence between the translator and the translation ecological environment, and maintain the balance of the translation ecological environment of the traditional Chinese medicine textbooks. It is necessary for the members of the "translation community" to make joint efforts: the translator can fully guarantee the central position of the translator by improving his translation level and exerting the leading role of the principal translation, and he is holding the master of the teaching material of TCM in an all-round way. The author, that is, the author of the Chinese textbook, should determine the difficulty and ease of the original text according to the readers' language level and the level of knowledge, and the publisher should be in the efficiency, quantity, and quantity of the original text, while the author should decide the difficulty and ease of the original text according to the readers' language level and the level of knowledge. While the target language readers, that is, foreign students and Chinese medicine teachers, should help the translator to make reasonable decisions through feedback of real needs and suggestions. Only in this way, the translated text of TCM textbooks can be unified, and its quality can be guaranteed.
