【摘要】：湯瑪士桑維爾.庫柏撰寫的《一個留辮子穿馬褂的商業(yè)先鋒的旅行記》被收錄到“中國研究”外文舊籍匯刊中�！爸袊芯俊毕盗惺珍浹芯恐袊�、經(jīng)濟(jì)、宗教、哲學(xué)、文化、外交、社會、軍事等各類著作。全書共十五章,主要介紹了十九世紀(jì)下半葉湯瑪士桑維爾.庫柏與其隨從在中國西南地區(qū)的所見所聞,并逐一克服百姓敵對、物資匱乏、天氣惡劣等多重阻礙,繼續(xù)勇往直前的歷程。筆者在翻譯該文本的基礎(chǔ)上完成了本次翻譯實(shí)踐報告,主要負(fù)責(zé)第十章至第十一章內(nèi)容的翻譯任務(wù),約1.56萬字。本翻譯實(shí)踐報告主要由五部分組成,第一部分是引言,其中包括項目介紹、項目意義與要求及報告結(jié)構(gòu);第二部分為譯前準(zhǔn)備,主要包括對原作者及原文本的介紹、原文本的語言特點(diǎn)分析、參考文獻(xiàn)及平行文本的閱讀、翻譯難點(diǎn)及質(zhì)量控制等;第三部分主要介紹了彼特·紐馬克的語義翻譯與交際翻譯理論;第四部分主要以彼特紐馬克的語義翻譯與交際翻譯理論為指導(dǎo)進(jìn)行案例分析;最后是對此次翻譯實(shí)踐任務(wù)的總結(jié)。本報告以彼特.紐馬克的語義翻譯與交際翻譯理論為指導(dǎo)。與此同時,筆者在翻譯過程中通過運(yùn)用多種翻譯方法及技巧,力求精準(zhǔn)而通暢地向譯語讀者傳達(dá)原文的內(nèi)容。在具體的翻譯實(shí)踐中,主要討論了專有名詞及其它名詞、長難句、狀語從句與修辭句和語篇等的翻譯,其中用到了直譯、意譯、添加注釋、調(diào)整語序與簡化句子結(jié)構(gòu)等方法與技巧。本翻譯實(shí)踐報告的目的在于探索游記文本的翻譯策略和方法,以期對后來學(xué)者研究此類文獻(xiàn)的翻譯提供一定的幫助。
[Abstract]:Thomas Thornville.
