基于Meta分析的企業(yè)社會資本對組織創(chuàng)新影響研究

【摘要】:在今天充滿不確定性的市場環(huán)境里,企業(yè)要應對全球范圍的競爭以及不斷演化的消費需求帶來的挑戰(zhàn),就不能僅僅依賴于對傳統(tǒng)資源的占有,而需要通過提升組織學習和創(chuàng)新的能力來贏得持久的競爭優(yōu)勢。同時,隨著技術創(chuàng)新風險和成本的提高,企業(yè)不再作為獨立的個體承擔創(chuàng)新活動,創(chuàng)新也漸漸被視為一個需要企業(yè)與各方合作協(xié)同完成的復雜過程。企業(yè)的創(chuàng)新,不僅是內(nèi)部知識流通和創(chuàng)造的成果,也與其外部社會關系,如企業(yè)與研究機構、商業(yè)伙伴、政府等的往來和交流,緊密相關。因此,企業(yè)有效利用內(nèi)、外部資源,挖掘內(nèi)、外部關系網(wǎng)絡的價值的能力變得尤為關鍵。社會資本,也因而被引入企業(yè)管理研究領域,其與企業(yè)知識創(chuàng)造、組織創(chuàng)新之間的關系也得到了許多學者的關注。雖然許多研究指出社會資本可以通過降低交易成本,促進信息和知識流動等方面推動組織創(chuàng)新,但是一些實證研究卻給出了與之相左的結(jié)論,因而至今關于社會資本是否能促進組織創(chuàng)新,學界仍然沒有定論。同時,鮮有研究關注社會資本影響組織創(chuàng)新的過程,關于社會資本的三個維度如何相互作用,從而影響組織創(chuàng)新這一方面還存在著研究空白。因此,本文采用元分析的研究方法,系統(tǒng)地回顧和梳理了 2000年1月至2017年1月國內(nèi)以企業(yè)社會資本與組織創(chuàng)新之間關系為研究問題,并且以國內(nèi)企業(yè)為研究對象的實證研究文獻,在中國知網(wǎng)、萬方數(shù)據(jù)及維普資訊三個數(shù)據(jù)庫檢索篩選出共計42篇定量研究成果,對這些相互獨立的研究進行整合和二次統(tǒng)計分析,從而探究社會資本整體及其三個維度與創(chuàng)新之間的關系,并通過討論社會資本三個維度之間的相互作用以及吸收能力的中介作用揭示了社會資本對組織創(chuàng)新產(chǎn)生影響的作用機制。通過統(tǒng)計分析,本文證實了社會資本在創(chuàng)新中發(fā)揮的積極作用,并通過證明其三個維度之間相互促進作用及吸收能力的重要中介效應。這些結(jié)論不僅對國內(nèi)社會資本領域的研究做了有益的補充,也為企業(yè)管理者提供了關于如何利用和發(fā)展社會資本以推動企業(yè)創(chuàng)新實踐的建設性建議。
[Abstract]:In today's uncertain market environment, companies cannot simply rely on the possession of traditional resources to cope with the challenges posed by global competition and evolving consumer demand. At the same time, with the increase of the risk and cost of technological innovation, enterprises will no longer undertake innovation activities as independent individuals. Innovation is also increasingly seen as a complex process that needs to be accomplished in cooperation with all parties. Enterprise innovation is not only the result of internal knowledge flow and creation, but also of its external social relations, such as enterprises and research institutions, business partners, Therefore, the ability of enterprises to make effective use of internal and external resources, to tap the value of internal and external relationship networks has become particularly critical. Social capital has also been introduced into the field of business management research. The relationship between social capital and enterprise knowledge creation and organizational innovation has also attracted the attention of many scholars. Although many studies have pointed out that social capital can promote organizational innovation by reducing transaction costs, promoting information and knowledge flow, etc. However, some empirical studies have come to a contrary conclusion. So far, there is still no conclusion on whether social capital can promote organizational innovation. At the same time, few studies have focused on the process of social capital influencing organizational innovation. There is still a research gap on how the three dimensions of social capital interact with each other, thus affecting organizational innovation. This paper systematically reviews and combs the empirical research literature on the relationship between corporate social capital and organizational innovation in China from January 2000 to January 2017, and takes domestic enterprises as the research object. In order to explore the relationship between the whole social capital and its three dimensions and innovation, a total of 42 quantitative research results were selected from the three databases of Wanfang data and Wiper, which integrated and analyzed these independent studies. By discussing the interaction between the three dimensions of social capital and the intermediary role of absorptive capacity, this paper reveals the mechanism of the influence of social capital on organizational innovation. This paper confirms the positive role of social capital in innovation. These conclusions not only complement the research in the field of social capital in China, but also prove the important intermediary effects between the three dimensions of interaction and absorptive capacity. It also provides constructive suggestions on how to use and develop social capital to promote enterprise innovation practice.
