在馬拉維經(jīng)濟(jì)嚴(yán)重依賴農(nóng)業(yè)的狀況下,中小企業(yè),特別是那些在馬拉維從事農(nóng)產(chǎn)品加工的中小企業(yè),發(fā)揮著非常關(guān)鍵的作用。然而,這些中小企業(yè)中只有少數(shù)采用了技術(shù)創(chuàng)新。以此為出發(fā)點(diǎn),本研究旨在調(diào)查技術(shù)創(chuàng)新如何對(duì)馬拉維農(nóng)產(chǎn)品加工型中小企業(yè)的增長(zhǎng)產(chǎn)生影響。采用目的抽樣方法,得到來自馬拉維南部、中部和北部的300(300)家農(nóng)產(chǎn)品加工中小企業(yè)的抽樣數(shù)據(jù)。目的抽樣方法僅針對(duì)于那些采用技術(shù)創(chuàng)新的中小企業(yè)。數(shù)據(jù)通過對(duì)農(nóng)產(chǎn)品加工中小企業(yè)開展問卷調(diào)查來收集。并采用描述性統(tǒng)計(jì)方法對(duì)定量數(shù)據(jù)進(jìn)行分析。結(jié)果顯示,農(nóng)業(yè)部門占馬拉維國(guó)內(nèi)生產(chǎn)總值的30%以上,研究表明,基于參與研究的96%的中小企業(yè)可以得出結(jié)論這樣的結(jié)論:技術(shù)在中小企業(yè)績(jī)效中發(fā)揮著重要作用,而且利用技術(shù)的中小企業(yè)與其他中小企業(yè)和大公司競(jìng)爭(zhēng)的機(jī)會(huì)更大。該研究的結(jié)論是,技術(shù)創(chuàng)新(產(chǎn)品和工藝)與馬拉維中小企業(yè)業(yè)務(wù)的增長(zhǎng)之間存在正相關(guān)關(guān)系。并進(jìn)一步表明,中小企業(yè)及其雇員的教育和培訓(xùn)水平對(duì)中小企業(yè)的技術(shù)吸收起著重要作用。與受過基礎(chǔ)教育的中小企業(yè)相比,受教育程度較高的中小企業(yè)更有可能在經(jīng)營(yíng)中獲得現(xiàn)代技術(shù)。
