【摘要】：傳統(tǒng)文獻(xiàn)中對李約瑟之謎的解釋可以分為"技術(shù)供給不足"和"技術(shù)需求不足"兩個(gè)視角。將利益集團(tuán)的偏好引入到現(xiàn)存的分析框架,嘗試從技術(shù)抵制的視角對中西方在近代的"大分流"來做一個(gè)解釋。雖然西方在近代科技革命發(fā)生之初也存在著廣泛的技術(shù)抵制,但是其后一個(gè)較為自由的"思想市場"的形成,使得利益集團(tuán)成為技術(shù)進(jìn)步所帶來的社會剩余的受益者,從而使得他們成為新技術(shù)的"消費(fèi)者"。而對比此時(shí)的東方中國,利益集團(tuán)往往是新技術(shù)的"提供者",當(dāng)合理的預(yù)期到新技術(shù)的出現(xiàn)對其潛在的收益造成損害時(shí),將會對新技術(shù)進(jìn)行抵制。
[Abstract]:The explanation of Needham's riddle in traditional literature can be divided into two perspectives: "insufficient supply of technology" and "insufficient demand for technology". This paper introduces the preference of interest groups into the existing analytical framework and tries to explain the "great diversion" between China and the West in modern times from the angle of technical resistance. Although there were widespread technological resistance in the West at the beginning of the modern scientific and technological revolution, but the formation of a relatively free "ideological market" made interest groups become the beneficiaries of social surplus brought about by technological progress. It makes them "consumers" of new technologies. In contrast to Eastern China at this time, interest groups are often "providers" of new technologies, which will resist new technologies when they are reasonably expected to harm their potential earnings.
