【摘要】：楚莊王名旅,于公元前六一三年至公元前五九一年任楚國(guó)國(guó)君,在位二十三年。莊王在位期間對(duì)外領(lǐng)導(dǎo)楚國(guó)打敗周邊“夷狄”,北上與晉國(guó)爭(zhēng)霸并擊敗晉國(guó),將楚國(guó)領(lǐng)土擴(kuò)展到黃河以南。莊王對(duì)內(nèi)任用孫叔敖,發(fā)展楚國(guó)經(jīng)濟(jì),關(guān)心楚國(guó)人民生活的疾苦,使楚國(guó)成為春秋時(shí)期的強(qiáng)國(guó),楚莊王自己也成為春秋時(shí)期的霸主,后人尊為五霸之一。后世留下有關(guān)楚莊王的記載很豐富,據(jù)筆者不完全統(tǒng)計(jì),目前可見(jiàn)的先秦兩漢文獻(xiàn)中記載楚莊王的故事有三十一種五十九個(gè),可以說(shuō)是數(shù)量充足,而后人對(duì)楚莊王歷史的考證與研究也無(wú)不出自這些歷史故事。然而,楚莊王的故事往往存在同一故事不同本子(或曰版本)的情況,有時(shí)這些版本會(huì)在某些關(guān)鍵史實(shí)上出現(xiàn)記載的對(duì)立,使得歷史考證變得尤為困難。本文從楚莊王的眾多故事中挑選出四個(gè)有代表性的故事,分別是“莊王即位,三年不朝”、“莊王伐宋”、“莊王問(wèn)鼎”、“莊王封孫叔敖之子”,這些故事的共同特點(diǎn)是都存在多個(gè)版本,通過(guò)對(duì)同一故事的不同版本進(jìn)行對(duì)比,考察不同版本在敘事上的異同,并嘗試對(duì)形成不同版本的原因進(jìn)行分析。同時(shí),從故事類型上來(lái)說(shuō),文本選取的四個(gè)故事恰好代表四種故事類型,分別是“故事人物差異型文本”、“故事情節(jié)差異型文本”、“故事對(duì)話差異型文本”以及“他人故事差異型文本”。通過(guò)對(duì)楚莊王這四個(gè)故事的分析,提煉出不同故事類型的敘事特點(diǎn),進(jìn)而深化對(duì)故事的理解,最終得出這樣的一些結(jié)論。首先,故事經(jīng)常發(fā)生衍化,這使得我們看到的故事類史料很可能已經(jīng)發(fā)生過(guò)變化,不是故事的最原始版本。其次,從同一原型中會(huì)衍生出情節(jié)類似但故事人物變化的不同版本,如本文所討論的“楚莊王即位,三年不朝”故事,可能衍生自更早時(shí)期的商高宗故事,這意味著楚莊王的這一故事可能是出自編者的想象而非源自史實(shí)。最后,故事的編者會(huì)受到政治、道德以及學(xué)術(shù)傾向性的影響,因而使其編著的故事帶有傾向性,而這必然會(huì)為歷史考證帶來(lái)困難。
[Abstract]:The King of Chu was king of Chu from 613 BC to 591 BC and reigned for 23 years. During the reign of Zhuang Wang, he led the State of Chu to defeat the neighboring "Yi Di", went northward to fight for hegemony with the State of Jin and defeated the State of Jin, and extended the territory of the State of Chu to the south of the Yellow River. Zhuang Wang appointed Sun Shuao to develop the economy of Chu and care for the life of the people, so that Chu became a powerful nation in the Spring and Autumn period, and King Chu himself became the hegemon of the Spring and Autumn period, and the later generations respected one of the five tyrants. Later generations left rich records of the King of Chu. According to the author's incomplete statistics, there are 31 kinds and 59 kinds of stories recorded in the literature of the Pre-Qin and Han dynasties, which can be said to be sufficient in number. Later, the textual research and research on the history of Chuzhuang Wang came from these historical stories. However, the stories of the King of Chu often have different versions of the same story, and sometimes these versions appear in opposition on some key historical facts, making historical textual research particularly difficult. This article selects four representative stories from the numerous stories of the King of Chu, namely, "the king of Zhuang ascends the throne for three years," the Song Dynasty of the king of Zhuang "," the king of Zhuang wins the title "," the son of Sun Shuao "," the king of Zhuang Feng Sun Shuao ". The common feature of these stories is that there are many versions. By comparing different versions of the same story, the author examines the similarities and differences of different versions in narration, and tries to analyze the reasons for the formation of different versions. At the same time, from the perspective of story type, the four stories selected by the text represent exactly four kinds of story types, namely, "different text of story characters", "differential text of story plot", Different text of story dialogue and different text of story of others. Through the analysis of the four stories of Chuzhuang Wang, this paper abstracts the narrative characteristics of different story types, and then deepens the understanding of the story, and finally draws some conclusions. First, stories often evolve, making it possible that the storytelling we see has changed, not the original version of the story. Secondly, different versions of similar plot but changing characters will be derived from the same archetype, such as the story of "King Chu becomes king, three years no court", which may be derived from the story of Shang Gaozong in earlier times. This means that the story of Chuzhuang Wang may have been imagined by the editor rather than from historical facts. Finally, the editor of the story will be influenced by political, moral, and academic tendencies, thus making the story of the story biased, which will inevitably bring difficulties for historical textual research.
