【摘要】：西方人對中國建筑的認(rèn)識(shí)經(jīng)歷了一個(gè)循序漸進(jìn)的過程,本文通過梳理20世紀(jì)30年代以前西方人來華的建筑考察活動(dòng),將整個(gè)過程分為興趣萌芽、初步探索和考察巔峰三個(gè)階段。西方人的認(rèn)識(shí)從最初的誤解和偏見逐漸趨于客觀,期間產(chǎn)生了一批有影響力的學(xué)術(shù)成果,對于中國建筑史學(xué)的建構(gòu)起到了一定的作用。西方研究成果大致可歸為綜合、個(gè)案和專題研究三類。綜合研究是西方人研究的出發(fā)點(diǎn)和歸宿,旨在全面揭示中國建筑的一般規(guī)律。限于時(shí)間、精力的不足,部分西方學(xué)者從小規(guī)模的個(gè)案研究入手,以小見大,逐步發(fā)現(xiàn)中國建筑的本質(zhì)特征,同時(shí)為后續(xù)的研究積累素材。隨著研究的深入,西方學(xué)者具備了一定的學(xué)術(shù)基礎(chǔ),他們開始關(guān)注某一特定專題,如寺廟、佛塔、祠堂、城墻等。本文通過系統(tǒng)梳理上述三類成果,完整勾勒出西方學(xué)界的研究框架,進(jìn)一步揭示出西方學(xué)者的中國建筑觀。伯施曼是西方學(xué)界的巨擘,其成果涵蓋了綜合、個(gè)案和專題研究三個(gè)方面,代表了西方研究的最高成就,是本文的研究重點(diǎn)。西方學(xué)者來華考察拍攝了大量照片,測繪完成了眾多圖紙,這些圖像資料是其研究成果的重要組成部分,也是其中國建筑觀的重要載體。本文在解讀文字資料時(shí),也注重非文字材料的使用。利用數(shù)據(jù)庫和GIS(地理信息系統(tǒng)),實(shí)現(xiàn)了歷史照片的信息化管理,提高了使用效率,同時(shí),利用GIS平臺(tái)的分析功能,針對歷史照片的部分屬性進(jìn)行了定量分析,為史學(xué)研究提供了數(shù)據(jù)支撐。
[Abstract]:Westerners' understanding of Chinese architecture has experienced a gradual process. By combing the architectural inspection activities of Westerners in China before the 1930s, the whole process is divided into three stages: the germination of interest, the preliminary exploration and the investigation of the peak. From the initial misunderstanding and prejudice westerners gradually tend to objective, during which a number of influential academic achievements, which played a certain role in the construction of Chinese architectural history. Western research results can be classified into three categories: synthesis, case study and special case study. Comprehensive study is the starting point and destination of western research, aiming to reveal the general law of Chinese architecture. Limited to the shortage of time and energy, some western scholars start with small scale case studies, see the whole through a small part, gradually discover the essential characteristics of Chinese architecture, and accumulate materials for the subsequent research. With the deepening of the research, Western scholars have a certain academic foundation, they began to pay attention to a specific topic, such as temples, pagodas, ancestral halls, walls and so on. By systematically combing the above three kinds of achievements, this paper outlines the research frame of the western academic circles, and further reveals the western scholars' view of Chinese architecture. Berschman is a great power in western academic circles whose achievements cover three aspects: synthesis case and monographic study which represents the highest achievement of western research and is the focus of this paper. Western scholars have visited China to take a large number of photos and completed many drawings. These images are an important part of their research results and also an important carrier of their views on Chinese architecture. This article also pays attention to the use of non-text materials when interpreting text materials. With the help of database and GIS (Geographic Information system), the information management of historical photos is realized, and the efficiency of use is improved. At the same time, some attributes of historical photos are analyzed quantitatively by using the analysis function of GIS platform. It provides data support for historical research.
